Correct mah....!!

On the issue of honesty on calvin call on Uzma, i think calvin make a good call on uzma at its low and those who follow him yesterday will really benefited, bcos uzma jump up about 7% yesterday mah...!!

Surely calvin got good intention sharing with i3 members not like what dishonest 3iii trying to paint calvin as bad mah..!!

Uzma nta about rm 1.54, trading at PE 9x and with shareholders funds growing every year, all these showed uzma a potential margin of safety stock loh.....!!

Raider has no exposure on uzma, but raider find uzma has the same potential of appreciation like bjland a margin of safety stock loh..!!

Remember it is not quality or growth stock u pay...it is how much margin of safety u get, the bigger the safer your return loh...!!

YOU MUST BUY A STOCK WITH GOOD FUNDAMENTAL FOR SAFETY

EXAMPLE IS UZMA AT 66.5 SEN WITH NTA OF RM1.54 (MORE THAN 50% DISCOUNT TO NTA WHICH GIVES MARGIN OF SAFETY

THEN YOU MUST KNOW A STOCK CAN MOVE IF THERE IS COMING CATALYST

WHAT CATALYST UZMA GOT?

ANSWER

UZMA GOT 12 MONTHS CONTRACT JOBS (PLUS MANY OTHER JOBS AWARDED) TO DISMANTLE & DECOMMISSION 22 OIL RIGS

BECAUSE OF MONSOON FROM NOVEMBER TO MARCH 2019 (5 MONTHS OF MONSOON IN SOUTH CHINA SEA) ONLY 6 OIL RIGS WERE DISMANTLED

SO AFTER APRIL 2019 MONSOON OVER UZMA WILL CONTINUE TO DISMANTLE 16 MORE OIL RIGS

THESE GOOD MONTHS OF APRIL TO JUNE 2019 SHOULD REPORT BETTER PROFITS FOR UZMA

SO HIGH PROFITS WILL BE A CATALYST AS PEOPLE WANT "EARNINGS"

AND ANOTHER PONTER IS UZMA DIRECTORS ARE TURNING BULLISH AND BUYING UZMA SHARES WITH THEIR OWN POCKET MONIES

SO ALL FACTORS POINT TO UZMA AS A GREAT BUY NOW!!!

While stupid 3iii was posting doubts on Uzma yesterday at 62 sen

UZMA CLOSED UP 7% AT 66.5 SEN

SO ALL WHO WERE LED ASTRAY MANY BY 3iii. THEY MISSED 7% GAIN IN ONE DAY

STUPID 3iii

BODOH 3iii

BETTER BUY SOME UZMA ON MONDAY AS UZMA NOW IN UPTRENDING MODE!!

Three categories of businesses based on the cost of business growth: Great, Good and Gruesome

Buffett uses a simple checklist to determine the attractiveness of businesses as investments. To meet his tests, companies must possess:

1. a sensible price tag
2. durable competitive advantages
3. business he can understand
4: managers who have integrity and who are passionately involved in their business creations.

Even though he is not involved in the day-to-day operations, Buffett pays close attention to how much cash each business generates. He determines how much is needed to maintain a rate of appropriate growth and how much can be invested elsewhere to build intrinsic value in the Berkshire enterprise.

In his 2007 shareholder letter, Buffett offered a capsule view of how he assess companies based on their capital allocation profiles. He sorts businesses into three categories based on the cost of business growth: great, good, and gruesome. This sorting allows him to see sizzle where others cannot.

Buy good quality companies with durable competitive advantage and trustworthy managers and holding them for the long term. Just buy them at fair or bargain prices and never at high prices.

"It is better to own the great companies at good prices, than the good companies at great prices."

Financial Genius in a Rising Market

It is good to have friends who are smart intelligent investors.
These people are fun to meet.
They share precious personal knowledge and experience.
On many occasions, you can coattail on their hardwork profitably.
At times, they prevented you from committing an obvious investing mistake.

How to spot these smart intelligent investors?
Yes, they maybe of any ages.
The younger investor maybe smart, but it does take time to build up an experience.
Seek out those in their 50s or older with a good track record.
There are many who invest in the market;
a record they do have but not that of the truly committed smart intelligent investor.

The truly smart intelligent investors are those with a record of good total return accumulated over MANY years of investing.
They are passionate, hardworking and perhaps well-networked.
They have a philosophy and strategy.
They may even sound boring as they are so predictable.
They are not many but not rare.
Make friends with them.
Rub shoulders with them.
There is little to lose and a lot more to gain.

Of course, beware the financial genius in a rising market.
As the saying goes, when the tide recedes, many of them are found swimming .

When you have a long term successful portfolio
(Capital Gains +++ & Yearly Dividends +++)

A long term successful portfolio:

1.  has capital gains of many folds.
2.  delivers yearly dividends of substantial amounts.

When the market is down, the "quotational losses" in portfolio value is attenuated by the dividend incomes.

The substantial dividend incomes far exceed any short term trade gains that one may indulge (by many hundred folds). :-) :-)

Short term trade is delegated to an occasional past-time to indulge for serious, yet non critical "investing." :-) :-)

it is very clear the promoters have bad intention, all they want is you buy high, they reap the profits because they already bought much earlire at lower price. The IDSS are the good guys, we do not encourage you to pay higher price for the shares, we encourage you to buy at lower price ( if you love the share so much ).

Reinvested dividends play a large role in long-term capital accumulation.

While many amateur investor tend to be attracted by capital gains and attach little weight to dividends, reinvested dividends play a large role in long-term capital accumulation.

If your target 8% return were made up of 3% dividends and 5% capital gain, your $100 would accumulate to $2,172 within reinvested dividends and $704 without them over 40 years..

Warren Buffett - 'Don't Wait For Downturn To Buy Great Company'

https://klse.i3investor.com/blogs/kianweiaritcles/223965.jsp

Buy great companies and hold them for a very long time, if not, forever.

It is difficult to find great companies, there are just not many of these around.

Warren Buffett

By definition, a great company is one that is going to remain great for the next 30 years.

If it is only going to be great for 3 years, it ain't a great company.

We can attempt to buy and sell some of these great businesses, but they are too hard to find. To sit and hope you can buy them in the throes of some panic, I am not sure this will be a great technique.

The main thing to do is find wonderful businesses. Stick with them and don't worry too much about what they do day to day.

A great business maybe priced a little high. If you like the business, and if you like the person, and the price sounds reasonable and you really know the business, probably the thing to do is just to take it. Don't worry about too much how it is quoted. It might not be quoted tomorrow.

(Investing is simple, many just make it very difficult.)

Warren Buffett - 'Rising Stock Market Valuations'

"Throughout the career I have in investing, there has always been hundreds of cases and thousands of cases of things that are ridiculously priced, phony stock promotions and the gullible being led into believing in things that just cannot come true. That has always gone on and will always go on and it doesn't make any difference to us.

We are not here to predict markets and we are not trying to predict the markets; we are trying to find wonderful businesses and the fact of the matter that a part of the market is screw-y, that is unimportant to us.

We try a few times shorting some of those things, in our innocence of youth and it is very tough to make money, shorting even the obvious fraud. And there are some obvious fraud. It is not so tough to find these obvious fraud. It is not tough to be right over 10 years but it is very tough to make money shorting them, though we did try this a few times.

We don't look at the indices from stocks in general, or P/E, or P/Sales ratios, and what other things you are doing. We really just focus on businesses. We don't care if there is a stock market.

If we want to own Coca Cola, the 8% we in Coca Cola and the 11% in Gillette, if there said they are going to de-list the stocks and will only open again in 20 years, it will be fine with us. If it goes down on the news, we will buy more of it. We care about what the business does."
