eu wants to start phasing out only from year 2023 and complete it by 2030 . long time more

meanwhile they will face 3 problems

if no palm oil as biodisel they use what? fossil fuel and coal? that is even more polluting

their rapeseed oil now very expensive
how to use it as it is twice more expensive than palm oil?

Malaysia will protest . and trade war will start
Malaysia and Indonesia will ban buying fighter jets from them or go barter with palm oil

actually palm oil could be made into biodegradable plastic to replace plastic made from crude oil which in non-biodegradable

And just two days later Npc sold oil palm lands to Kretam at above Rm25,000 an acre

This shows the hot demand for oil palm lands

Now it is no longer the buyer's market

It is now the seller's market
