Closed at today's low but still within the uptrending channel. Good to shake off short term players every now and then with these price gyrations. Unlikely to be the end of this year's story for MYEG. Imminent shareholders approval for proposed 1.68c Dividend during AGM on 25 June will be good enough for celebration.

To recap, the NIISe contract first came about as the RM3.5 billion Sistem Kawalan Imigresen Nasional (SKIN) project was won by AwanBiru Technology Bhd (then known as Prestariang Bhd) in August 2017. However, in December 2019, the contract with Awantec was terminated by the Pakatan Harapan government. Subsequently, during the Perikatan Nasional administration, Iris Corp Bhd was appointed to take over the project in January 2021, and SKIN eventually morphed into NIISe, which was cheaper at RM1.16 billion and in line with the government’s austerity drive.

Very strategic decision, rather than being stuck here incurring unnecessary Opportunity Cost. Free up your capital and make your money works by accumulating hot stock Iris, Vstecs or even Asiaply. After reaping good returns, you can't go wrong by coming back later like "Mr. Wong" or EPF?

#中国总理李强18日访马

中国国务院总理李强将于6月13日至20日，对纽西兰、澳洲和马来西亚进行正式访问。
中国外交部发言人林剑宣布，应纽西兰总理拉克森、澳洲总理阿尔巴尼斯和马来西亚首相拿督斯里安华邀请，中国国务院总理李强将对三国进行访问。

李强将于本月18日开始对马来西亚进行3天的正式访问。李强今次访马，正值马中建交50周年。
林剑表示，中国和马来西亚是隔海相望的传统友好邻邦。

“建交半个世纪以来，中马关系一直保持良好发展势头，战略互信不断深化，高质量共建“一带一路”成果丰硕，人文交流日益密切。”

林剑说，中马同为亚洲发展中国家和新兴经济体，积极倡导和平、合作、包容、融合的亚洲价值观，为区域和平繁荣稳定做出了重要贡献。

李强在马期间，将与首相安华出席中马建交50周年庆祝活动。他也将拜会国家元首苏丹依布拉欣，同时与首相拿督斯里安华举行会议。

林剑表示，中方期待以此访为契机，同马方弘扬传统友谊，深化拓展各领域合作，推动中马命运共同体建设走深走实，携手开创中马关系更加辉煌的下一个50年。

与此同时，澳洲政府早前发文告透露，李强将在15日抵达澳洲，开展4天的访问行程。
李强此行正值中澳关系逐渐改善，此前中国解除了对澳洲煤炭、木材、大麦和葡萄所实施的出口限制措施。

另外，纽西兰总理拉克森10日也宣布，李强将在本周晚些时候到访纽西兰。今年正值中国与纽西兰建立全面战略伙伴关系10周年。这也是2017年时任中国总理李克强访问纽西兰后，再有中国总理到访。

The impact is significant to myeg as Msia gov job still form 70% of myeg revenue. Myeg have grace period contract extension until 2026 before replace by NIISE

The NIISe contract, worth RM1.16 billion, was awarded to Iris IT Solutions (IITS) in January 2021 for a period of 54 months, starting from March 1, 2021, until August 31, 2025. However, as of March 2023, the project did not achieve adequate progress, leading to a one-year extension to 31 August 2026. Due to the lack of satisfactory project by IRIS, the NIISe contract with IRIS was terminated on 14 August 2023 by the Home Ministry with immediate effect on the same date. Base on the extended timeline to IRIS of August 2026, it would take 3 years to complete the project. Until today, the NIISe project had not been awarded to a new contractor.

Base on a minimum of 3 years needed to complete the NIISe project after project award to a new competent contractor (versus the 4.5 years project time given to IRIS,which failed to achieve anything), the earlist date for NIISe could be July 2027 but more likely to be in 2028.
