The Agreement paves the way for the two companies -- well-established leaders in the country’s technology space – to combine their respective strengths and expertise in fulfilling the trust given to execute significant e-government projects. These include current and future projects in which either one party is involved.
Recognizing the significance of these key projects for the nation, MYEG and HeiTech are collaborating to deploy cutting-edge technologies, driving the digital transformation of the public sector. This partnership aims to deliver efficient government services to end-users, both Malaysians and non-Malaysians, at consistently high standards. The Agreement outlines the respective roles and responsibilities of the partners in collaborating in the areas of marketing activities, sharing of related know-how, and system integration of Information and Technology Solution for identified projects to potential customers. Recently, HeiTech secured a contract from the Road Transport Department Malaysia to build, supply, deliver, install, configure, integrate, test and commission its hardware, software and digital systems. The company was also awarded the National Integrated Immigration System (NIIse) project by the Immigration Department.
Having commenced operations nearly 25 years ago, MYEG looks forward to drawing on its proven track record and technological capabilities to support and complement HeiTech for the benefit of all stakeholders.
In Malaysia, MYEG has served a variety of government agencies over the years in Malaysia, including the Immigration Department, the Road Transport Department, the Ministry of Health and many others.
Beyond Malaysia, MYEG is the leading e-government services provider in the Philippines, partnering with the likes of the National Bureau of Investigation, PhilHealth, the Securities and Exchange Commission, Bureau of Internal Revenue and more.
More recently, leveraging on its emergence as a leader in the Web 3 space, MYEG is pioneering real-world blockchain applications through collaborations with leading Chinese government agencies such as the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China and China Academy of Information and Communications Technology to power cross-border transactions in the region
