This company is a "bank" that can print "money". It has minted close to 1.2 billion of crypto coins ( called zetrix ) at a cost of < USD4 per coin . Today about 15% 170 millions of zetrix crypto coins has been released and floated in crypto exchange. Today each zetrix cryto is traded at USD16. KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 6): MyEG Services Bhd said it has teamed up with an agency of China's customs in a bid to secure the Royal Malaysian Customs's “single window” project.

The government e-service provider has signed a heads of agreement (HOA) with East Logistics Link Co Ltd (ELLC) to work exclusively together on securing and operating the project.

ELLC is a wholly owned agency of the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China.

Under the HOA, the parties will collaborate on implementing the project, defining its structure, obtaining regulatory approvals, developing a business plan, securing funding, and pitching to the relevant Malaysian agencies.

The project will proceed only if a legally binding definitive agreement is negotiated and signed by the parties and all necessary regulatory or third-party approvals are obtained.

In a separate statement, MyEG said the initiative enhances the partnership between MyEG and ELLC, building on their existing collaboration on ZTrade — a Web 3 service for verifying and exchanging digital trade documents on the Zetrix blockchain platform.

MyEG said this collaboration combines its expertise in e-government services and Web 3 technology with East Logistics' experience in China’s international trade systems, including the development and maintenance of cross-border trade e-commerce platforms.

The company added that the parties also aim for the project to be developed on the Zetrix blockchain, further advancing the adoption of Web 3 technology in Malaysia and across the Asean region.

Shares of MyEG closed unchanged at 91.5 sen on Friday, giving the company a market capitalisation of RM6.88 billion.

China's national policy has targeted year 2025 when its blockchain use is widely implemented in all government processes including port custom electronic documentations . So, Malaysia whether like it or not, will have to comply by using blockchain technologies to submit custom processes in order to exports its goods to China ports. Malaysia trade with China is about RM200 billion per year....

MYEG has adopted a very safe approach to monetize its RM1 bil investment by TOKENIZATION. It has minted 1.2 bil Zetrix tokens (aka printed "cypo money") and has only released and sold about 170 mil Zetrix tokens (initial offering was USD4 / token) when Zetrix was listed for trading in crypto exchanges. It has to manage Zetrix price, currently at USD15 - USD16 by releasing more Zetrix tokens when demand from Zetrix increases during to trading and purchases by exporters who need Zetrix tokens to purchase blockchain service for their goods to be exported to China. So, Zetrix tokens as per people in the trade are forecast to surge to USD30 in 2025 and USD50 in 2026 as international trade with China increases.

If MYEG venture in blockchain is not appreciated by the local capital market players ( whose banking license attached to to national responsibility is to efficiently allocate scare capital to the most productive assets ) in msia, the end is the blockchain business be bought over by a consortium private capitalists ( including Blackrock ) and be listed in HK or US.

China has already generously offered and shared its national strategic blockchain technologies with myeg ( by extension ) to act as its International Node in SEA. Now, China wants to see if its generosity will be implemented swiftly. Else, Indonesia will take over the role. It's is similar to the HSR episode....

In US, blockchain ecosystem, together with AI computing power, causes the revolution of data centers from offering basic storage to hyper computing features. If msia wants to be data center hub , in deed and in substance, in SEA, then blockchain is an intergral part of data center ecosystem. myeg is reckoned to be driving force towards it. So, don't get misguided by the dirty word "minting token" , because minting is an important piece of self funding (vie tokenisation ) to get new money in to build and expand a big project
