U can also quote , good till done at 7.80 & 7.60 & 7.40 and go to sleep, if done u know u got better deal, else top up when it moves up to 8,15

Today only managed to get 25%....that's one queue out of four, will continue to slowly accumulate next week....will use up this fund, proceed from sales of other stock.
After this, then will wait for 7.80...7.60.

EVEN IF stuck here forever...is also NOT BAD...at current price, dividend yield will be about 7-8 %.......I am shifting my ASM fund to buy buy buy this.
(ASM is now paying only 4 %....as it is a capital guarantee ...there will also be no capital appreciation).....Maybank may have potential to break 9 or 10 in future.

Sure huat kao kao compared to ASM.

Stkoay: i also have the 3 fixed price funds which was very difficult to get during my time, so i am keeping it, i know it will be bad for a few years bit i havent sold any. If sell , cannot buy back. So i just leave it alone, as can still sell anytime and it is still better than the cash in bank or FD.

Stkoay: since we think and do alike. i am looking at malaysian reits and have made smalll purchases as of last month and the price is also going below my purchase price. Personal view only.

As my main focus is growth and diversification for capital perservation with growth.

@tolle....looking at historical profit and dividend of banks esp. MBB, I think investing in banks is better than reits over the long term...just my 2 sen :)

@tolle....yes , the fixed price fund once sold cannot buy back...but 4% for savvy investor like us is too low....so I have withdrawn 60% and switched to MBB...(that's how the quite large holding..hehe)

I managed to buy AS1M a lot during the launch and in 2014, when the 1MDB issue surfaced....there were people pulling out then.
