If delisted, we are small investors and nothing we can do execpt to sell the share before delisting or hold on with the shares together with the major shareholders. The management will be more concern and with strong pressure to the Management. They have to come up with a plan to get back to the listing again.
The risk of capital is Zero, if you buy low and at cureent price of RM0.435 per share, MAA is a lelong stock now, not to mention that the management has just sold Columbus Capita for A$ 21 Million at RM3.00 for A$1.00 , = RM63,000,000-00. and cash per share is RM0.23.
Based on 30/9/2018 account with cash balance RM142.667 Mil and plus once the money collected from Columbus Capital RM58,000,000 less retention sum RM 5 Mil = 200.667 Mil and plus retantion of RM93.75 Mil from Zurich and RM5 Mil from Columbus. This company is very rich in cash of RM 299.417 Mil . which work out of RM1.09 per share based on 273,517,752 shares.
All other businesses are FREE in the Group. THAT IS WHY I CALLED MAA is a lelong stock.
I hope SC will allow the extension. Even though MAA is in PN17 since 2011, throughout the years the management is truly working on restructure of the co biz like selling takaful biz, increase share in Philipine insurance, buy and sell Columbus, collect bad debt and settle dispute on bond etc. Now they are in mineral biz and management has said openly they are looking for manufacturing sector, give some times for them to get out of finance sector and perhaps relisted as Industrial sector, may be.
You are right jamesooi, based on the circulars, there is still a 9 sen div to be paid 2018 and 2019. While we expected 6 sen 2018 and 6 sen 2019, it seems like we will only get 3 sen in 2018 (paid april) considering that we are already in december. So we may get 9 sen div in 2019 under note g.
I think why they have not done any share buyback is because it could involve them having to undertake a mandatory offer for MAA
Kindly refer to circular dated 30th april 2018, Part A, point 6. - should the buyback result in an increase of shareholding by more than 2% within a 6 months period, MESB and the parties acting in concert will be obliged to undertake a mandatory offer.......
That's mean our CEO is good! And been offered the job to take care all co in Bursa. I did not invest in Bursa because all the time i evaluate Tajuddin not capable to tackle many issues in Bursa. Now Bursa is in my shopping list. YESSSSS!!!
Any1 know incoming Bursa CEO e-mail address? I want to suggest something to him to improve many issues in Bursa. Tajuddin take care Bursa too much but ignore the rest so many ctrs incl MAA suffer.
While it is not surprising why there are small buying volumes to try to keep the price support(company undervalued, support px for mark to market purposes etc), it is extremely weird why is there small selling volume trying to keep the price subdued. Why is it weird is because we dont have a strong or fair market to allow short selling.
Only reason i can think of..1) existing shareholder trying to keep price low so that they can scoop up at lower price. 2.) Existing shareholder tryin to trigger margin calls or stop losses. 3.) Existing shareholder in deep trouble, pairing down stakes to raise cash.
Like i said, not surprising for buyers because mostly long positions. You cant really establish short positions. So no point you want to keep price as low as possible.
I think it is looks like synidate is manipulating as Theong mentioned that the buying at 100 units per lot and the volume is so low yet the share price moved up at high of 4 sens and closed at up 3 sens at RM0.485 per share.
As of third quarter 2018 (30 Sept 2018) 1.) Net Tangible Assets stands at = RM 1.93 per share 2.) Net Cash per share = RM 0.52 per share 3.) Dividend of RM 32,822,000 to be paid in 2019 totaling to = RM 0.12 per share
2009 March MAA share price was at the lowest point 0.38 cents NTA was around 0.70 that was the worse. Now NTA was above rm 1.9 . Share price is 0.5cents. Can it go further below 40 cents again?
Was hoping for my final accumulation at below 40 cents.Hoping Danny 123 will sell to me. Hai Hai hai. Anyway have accumulated starting from 70 cents until below 50 .
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
