No lar...the reverse is true.....LTH should be buying now...lower cost for them...they can average down given the majority of their purchases was made at RM0.89 when they fixed the market for rights issue.
Just kidding, LTH is buying low from those desperate sellers. LTH is not putting huge buy queue. But queuing small volume at lower price. Looks like LTH is playing it well this time
Once LTH has bought enough then they will push up the price for the Right Issue...just be patient don be fool and sell cheap now as tis stock coming quarterly result gonna be very wonderful
Sg Long project when launch will the the game changer and largest ever profit contribution to SYMLIFE...Symlife will soon attract big fund institutional investors when RI is completed
investing is the most intellectual if it is the most business like.
If i am LTH, what i will do is to exploit the current weak sentiment on property counter and further depressed the selling price. The objective is two fold: (1): to further average down on my holding cost which hovers around $0.80 (due to fixing the market at RM0.80 for RI purpose). (2): it is cheaper to buy now at RM0.72 and just fork out RM0.35 for the RI. It is to my advantage to depress the market now.
However, once the pool of sellers dried up at RM0.72, LTH maybe forced to increase the buying price. However, i suspect LTH will keep it to a tight band.
If I am TSMAY, I would do the same as what is he doing right now. Before conducting any major M&A or disposal of land, I need to increase my position by increasing the stake or else my shareholding would be diluted. If I were to carry out private placement, it does not bode well with minority shareholders and limited to 10% of current sharebase (I am not sure if it can be expanded more than that). RI at very cheap price is more palatable for me and minority shareholders. My entry cost would be cheaper and more shares can be issued to me. Usually company offer RI at only slight discount so that they raise more money and not diluting too much the EPS.
After everything is settled, I would sell the Sg. Long land at market price instead of developing it due to long gestation period and poor property outlook, especially for the high end. Declare dividends from the proceeds and since I have more shares means I benefit more from the RI. hahahaha.
One thing that is sure, is TSMAY want to strengthen his grip on the company. TH might be riding on the improving prospect of Symlife profit. However, we could not discard the possibility of M&A.
Nemesis, if you are holding the shares, you may keep it and subscribe the RI. If you don't hold any shares right now, better buy the right from the market, since it is cheaper.
@ azlan88, it seems that you have been holding onto Symlife for a very long time...like back in 2014/2015...when they first start building Star ....mind to share your average cost ?
Kancs, how to buy fm the market? U mean buy at 0.35? Isn't tat u must own the mother share in order for u to be entitled to own the right issue at 0.35 ...Pls explain!
LTH bought most of the volume...I m sure it will shoot above above 0.80 even before the RI go Ex...I m bullish their 1 billion unbilled sales n the long awaited 7 billion Sg Long project...That is why LTH is getting onboard to provide the financial muscles to Symlife...Maybe a joint venture! LTH will buy more soon...
Hey guys...the final question is IS it worth to subscribe to Symlife Right Issue??? Is the issue price of 0.35 RI cheap n reasonable??? What do you think is the future prospect of Symlife moving fwd after the completion of the Right Issue exercise??? Pls voice out Ur comments thanks...
Here's what I think. For a 1 for 1 rights issue, it means that after the completion of the rights issue exercise, the price of the share will be reduced by half. So, if the closing price before the ex-date is RM0.70, that will mean a price of RM0.35 after the ex-date. Am I wrong? If I am right, I don't see how one can say that the RI is cheap and reasonable, unless you are very certain that the price will only go up after the exercise. If, God forbid, the price falls, well, you can even pick up the share at a cheaper price than RM0.35.
Nope I don think the price will be 0.35 after the Ex date if it close at 0.70...it will be around 0.50 after the completion of RI if the closing is 0.70...But think about tis if u subscribe to tis RI Ur dividend is confirmed n u will reap an uninterrupted robust financial growth derived fm its 1 billion unbilled sales for the next 3 years to come...Tat y LTH is accumulating boldly ahead of time...the growth is quaranteed waiting to be reaped...
Wasn't it mentioned in their initial announcement/proposal that it is a 1 for 1 rights issue? Whether the rights issue will be fully subscribed or not, is a whole different question.
Why Symlife rose 4 Sen...is it a Mahathir related stock? Anyway 4th qtr fin result will be released soon tis mth and it is expected to the strongest of all time...should climb back to 0.80 soon...hold on tight to it...
Star Residences have started to contribute in a significant way ($17M). However, took a hit in the reversal on a gain for disposal of the Taman Midah land if about $7M.
Hi Melanie may u know how do you get "each right cost ard 0.125" n wat does it mean? Do u mean to say we need to pay just 125.00 for each 1000 shares of Symlife owned...is the RI tat cheap?
