@lofan73, Yes, I am holding on until much higher value is realized . There is a lot more the management can do to the group business/assets to create much higher value than what it is now.
Small loss of 7.3mil for the quarter (comparatively lower y-oy) and overall profit for 1H2021 after 6 quarters of losses. Almost all subsidiaries performed well.
Lembaga Tabung Haji considering taking TH Plantation private to take advantage of the good CPO price. Will Boustead Holdings or LTAT consider taking Boustead Plantation private for the same reason?

BOUSTEAD PLANT LANDS NEAR PRAI ARE WORTH NEAR RM1 MILLIONS PER ACRE
IF BPLANT IS TAKEN PRIVATE IT SHOULD BE ABOVE RM2.00 TO BE FAIR (BUT STILL CHEAP)
A listed PLC have many rules to follow plus certain decision you need to seek minorities shareholders approval. whereas an unlisted company { the board have the sole discretion without the need to go thru EGM or have the shareholders mandate.} Bplant under Bstead is the best option to take private
The kulai estate monetisation will not be the last one .A couple more to come . Just watch out . The companies borrowing will be substantially reduced. As at 30/6/21 , borrowing was about $1,171 mil ($1,362 as at 30/6/20). There was already $191 mil reduction in borrowing due to strong positive cashflow generated from operations over a year. I expect cashflow from operations will still be as strong in next 2-3 years . Asset monetisation plus substantial positive cashflow from operation will turn Bplant into very low gearing or even net cash company soon. With reduced borrowing, the company is in strong financial position to go for privatization via SCR. Privatization via general offer by Bstead /ltat is out of the question as they don't have the money to do so. Privatisation of Bstead will then follow once Bplant become wholely owned. This is because Bstead can tap it's 100% owned Bplant's resources to strengthen it's financial position for a serious privatisation offer later. Just my thoughts for sharing. 29/09/2021 10:20 AM
Three-quarters of global energy demand is still met by fossil fuels, with less than a fifth by non-nuclear renewables. The rest will be coming from our Plantation Bio Fuel and Malaysia is the 2nd Biggest Exporter of Palm Oil.
Crude palm oil (CPO) futures price rose to RM5,000 a tonne for the first time on Tuesday. Our palm oil exports is expected to grow by 39% m-o-m and 0.3% y-o-y in September 2021 to 1.62 million tonnes, likely due to higher exports to India, China and the EU (European Union)
Meanwhile Fossil Energy prices continue to surge to fresh records as renewed fears stoke panic of the worst shortage in decades. India has warned it has only four days of coal reserves left, German power plants are running out of fuel and China just unloaded an Australian coal shipment despite an import ban and icy relations. Supply is just not there as economies rebound from a pandemic-induced lull, while problems like logistical logjams and transport bottlenecks are adding to the pressure.
Bigger picture: OPEC+ didn't come to the rescue yesterday as the group decided to continue its original plan of gradually releasing 400,000 additional barrels of oil per month. That's despite calls from world leaders, including the White House, to bring more crude on to the market and keep a lid on prices.
It's looking good guys from both Frontiers. Mabel Energy Battleships and Supertankers as well as Bio Fuel Plantation are cruising at full speed.
KWAP have been selling for months but amount sold is pretty smallish compared with their shareholding. We dont know their objective of selling - whether to manipulate or control the price or just to raise quick cash for other reasons.
Bstead not at their year high .the Q why KWAP keep disposing ??? Unless the fund managers are acting under instruction.left hand sells right and middle buys

Just take MSM as an example u will know what to do. Bstead has many valuable assets and the new management is in the midst of unlocking the value. anything below 0.6 just buy and keep. Need patience ya. if want fast fast then go invest tech counters ya
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
