One quarter earning cannot extrapolate to the next. Listen more to all the so call sifu for value investment lah... u go holland faster than superman can fly.

Stock = trend and sentiment. Just because it is good FA will have good value follow up. Listen to these sifu talk cock lah. Fully value petron at rm12 to rm14? Even the best sifu all agree bursa will break 1800 since last year. Look now lah. Where are we?

U want to punt and kena tipu welcome to bursa malaysia.
U really want value investing... go buy djia stock lah. There the analyst got ranking. Somemore have history of how many call buy and how much on average they earn from their call buy.

All sifu here just want your money. They buy u follow. They sell u hold lah for value investing. Then they all go hype up another counter lor.

They are as follows :-

TA comes first
U - Uptrending stock = Above all MA - Passed
B - Breakout chart = 8.71 - Passed
S - Sector to focus (cross 200 days SMA) = Above all MA - Passed (Ind/Prod)

FA comes second
G - Growth > 10% per year = 51% - Passed
M - Margin of safety > 30% = 36% - Passed
F - Forecast current year EPS must be better than previous year EPS = 1.55 - Passed

Note :
It is not easy for me to buy any stock because my stock selection criteria is set to be very tight so that the probability to win is always on the high side (about 70% chance).

Glad that you could finally join us here. Wishing you make big gains here as general TP is between 12.50 and 15.

The TP is not difficult to achieve at all. We just need strong holding power and a little patience.

Money wise, most of us here are cash flush with high spirit to continue accumulating should price make some necessary corrections as always the case.

Why ? Because the company is very good at consistently churning powerful FCF and dividends in near future can be extremely attractive !

The question is when the blood spills from HRC on monday, can Petronm endure? My take is that at most both will shed another 2-3%. The good thing is that both have excellent intrinsic values when compared to most of the other thousand counters. How many co can generate such huge EPS? Try looking even at the CI counters, I think none. The problem has always been our notion and extrapolated expectations and we want results to be fast, whereas we are just standing on the sidelines with a few tickets in our hands. When either HRC or Petron will hit their TP';s only god knows. But at least it gives us calculated hopes rather than empty promises from unfounded hypes.

Ya...not much counter in Malaysia can earn so high eps and declared it...so many counters declare losses every quarters...all figures can be manipulated...declare loss so can syfon some money out..the bosses are always rich but company always loss money...somemore Petron use the hard earning to pair down debt to become net cash company...what a nice effort from the management...pure fundamental counter...

Revenue generate from business is 51m or EPs 18.8 sen. Future EPs x4= 74sen. Just be careful price will go down.

1. OTB forgot to add 1 simple rule to his TA criteria, i.e. price above ema20.

2. Now price just close below ema20 with high selling volume, good luck if you want to catch this time
Prior to that RSI divergence appeared and heading downwards after broke below 50.

3. Historically price could retrace to between ema50 and ema100, which we are looking at RM8 region. Now OTB has to bear >10% downside risk with all due respect.

4. On FA, Petronm margin is too little compared to other competitors. Fundamental and earning is ok.

After discussion with my investment members of almost 20 of us here, we decided to average buy if the price really come down below 8.80.

All of us agreed that this is a must buy counter for steady investment return.

Our existing holdings of Petronm are all around 7.Though we entered a little late that time, we still feel the uptrend potential to go above 10 is highly reachable.

That's the reason we decided to add more instead of some this round of correction for dumb dumb hold until next year 2Q.

Because we are also property investors club of our own for 10 years with some good cash.

We noted Petronm could give us the best return for the time being and at this market conditions currently. We are not worried about price going downwards so much because we are longer term investors and are also backed with decent rental income with minimal bank loans.

By the way, we do not buy CC or CD because we go long term than the expiry date.

Another correction if come will create a good buying interest to many who have been studying the strength and potential valuations of the company..

What really impressed us here is not so much about the eps, but the strong FCF generated to repay substantial borrowings in such a short span of time.

It means the business is doing extremely well or else where to find so much hard cash to repay borrowings ? Ask yourself this question many times, then you will really understand the quality of the profitability and management team with top brains.

Each time its price falls, I bought and not too long it move even higher. This is a good stock so far this year and will continue to do so again and again.

Much better returns I got fas compared with other so called blue chips in my portfolio. A stock highly recommended by my old time reimisier at RHB.

PETRONM should continue to make profits and gain better cash flow for company growth, should the core fundamentals of the company remained in the same direction as highlighted by the many sifus.

It is only matters at what level the price could go to.

The confidence factor holding Petron shares is when you look at the shareholder spread, you will see that it is held by one single entity, about 73%. You could almost assume that the institutional play-maker either is associated or comes from there. Other holders are not significant. That is why you could never read about substantial shareholder share transactions other than the 73% holder, as far back as early 2016. There is no other substantial shareholder.
But on the negative side, the minor holders transactions will not be publicly viewed, becos it is deemed insignificant.
