The trend has changed for petronm. US and OPEC will try to maintain old price btw 65 -70usd. I think petron go downhill in 2018 untill the planned upgraded completed. The prospect has changed after oil price surged up. The best strategy is sell now and collect back cheap after the planned ungrade completed

Those who are new in the forum
You must stand firm with your believe
Do not be misled or confused by some good intention people
Petronm is high price stock, not many are willing to pay a big amount of money but get just a few lots of shares only
Take for example, the amount you pay for 10 lots of petronm is enough for you to buy 400 lots of PTRANS
If you are not prepared to hold for sometime , it is better for you not to touch

Look at the recent QR, even with a big margin squeeze, EPS still able to maintain well around 40 cents, comparable to Petdag which is currently trading at 25. I believe very soon it will become a next target of sailang of my good friends OTB and Stockraider.
Some people may argue that this quarter earning is maintained by land divestment. It is non operational profit, but do not forget 560 lots of land is definitely no more to be considered a traditional non operational profit but a big value creation

Petron eps for 2015 , 2016.amd 2017 were
82 sen , 90 sen and 150.sen
Arent such eps growth rate considered exponential?
Petron has also achieved net cash status in 2017.
It also rewarded shareholders with 2.2 % dividend yield.
With yesterday price , the PE is less than 8 .

If you compare petron eps growth with cyclical semincon stock Kesmi which had eps of 36 s , 71 s and 102 s for 2015, 2016 and 2017 , petron earnings were relatively higher . Besides Kesmi DY is less than 1 %. Petron retailed earnings are much more stBle tham Kesmi

The propoaed rm 14 billion investment will enabled petron to have SUPER EXPONENTIAL EPS GROWTH to RM 2.4 billion.per year. This is 6x the current yearly earning. On one hand some investors worry about huge capital spending , on other hand some investors worry about no earning growth.
There is no free lunch. Can someone ask Tomy Fernandes not to spend billions buying new planes and expect him to deliver exponential growth.
