do not panic sell Petronm tomorrow just because Hengyuan result doesn't meet expectation
do not see it as an opportunity to switch
If you follow the herd mentality to trade, then you will lose your own self
I am doing my best to share what i know with you but I have no say of the outcome

Hold tight. tomorrow is not the time to sell but the time to buy

the reason is simple :

you do not need a professor to tell you the EPS for the next coming quarter is around 40cents
you do not need a professor to tell you Petronm has more free cash for the next quarter
you do not need a professor to tell you Petronm has no debt for the next quarter
you do not need a professor to tell you petronm will pay me more dividend , may be 30 cents.
you do not need a professor to tell you Petronm will grow stronger ( 6x) after the expansion plan)

The truth is finally out . Future Eyes prediction is way out . Hengyuan started to pay tax and its earning is very volatile and unstable . The eps of 61.8 sen for Q4 is only half of Q3 eps . Comparatively , Petronm earning is much much more stable although it was slightly ( 6 %) lower than q3. As I said many many times , Petronm has a sure make money petrol retailing business ( more than 580 petrol stations ) which do retailings like PetDagangan. The earnings from this retailed business is more predictable and helps to cushion the volatile earnings from refinery . I think Petronm is a safer bet long term .

I just observed that Dutchlady's EPS for the year was 184 and its share price = 70. Petron's EPS 150 share price = 11.40.

Maybe because the food industry is less risky. Another key difference is Dutchlady's generous dividend payout.

face reality, bursa is different from us markets,ok, not comparable, ok. Here very underfunded one, u want to survive in an underfunded market, you need to customized your strategy, DON'T USE your US markets strategy on bursa, most of the time if you do it, you get red report cards.
The ppl here had customized their trading behaviours, that is why u see so many kakis around.
