HLI FY2014 eps is 0.54 and dividend is 0.25. Narra's projected eps for 2015 is 0.23. Tasek and Lafarge PER is above 20. Did the maths and am still collecting.
HLI will definitely drop on the ex-date as the reference price only adjust for the par and not market value of Narra. It depends on how much it will drop. If it can stay above RM5 and assuming that you can dispose of your Narra at above RM4 when it's credited into your account, the margin is still substantial.
Narra will probably weaken due to the new shares issued but I don't think it will go below RM3 bearing in mind that it's peers are trading at 20x PER. If it really dips to as low as RM2.30, grab as much as you can.
Yes, especially with the constraint of Narra shares given 8 market days after the entitlement date. Anything can happen within such a long period of time.
Narra closed at RM4.30 with 50,000 unit transacted at that price, far above the last transacted price of RM4.13. It is like right hand sells to left hand of the same person. Don't know what is Quek up to?
If I were him I would probably let it drop until the last day before the ex-date. Then I would collect at the lower price as I know my company real value.
someone keep pressing down the narra, then HLIND fear and started to dump HLIND. However, closing someone eat up narra price. If the cycle keep going for tmr, i cant imagine for HLIND share price. Ppl are too fear. Narra closing always not the Low price of the day!!
Well, you all must understand psychology. This 2 stocks are hold high by Top30 holders. You see HLIND is above 80%, NARRA even worse, 90% over. Tht means it is easy to manipulate.
And then you have to understand 1 thing. Quek don't like people hovering ard his stock and play like BJCorp of VT. His stock up slowly but surely. None fail so far, see HLCAP, HLBank, HLFG ,MPI, etc. All up slowly in years, but guarantee make money if you plan holding long.
So my guess is it will up more even after ex, As people speculating will sell by then. And now they press down the price to collect more and chase out those weak holders.
NARRA already mentioned they looking expansion, JOHOR is their market to expand and if capacity doubled, you will see TASEK, LARFARGE CEMENT in making! MAlaysia not many strong cement players, just a few like Tasek, LFCement, YTLCement, and of course this HUME Cements who expanding aggressively! Buy into their future now!
if expansion successful, HUMEIND becomes RM10 in 3 years time as I calculate them. Looking into future, you still think buying HLIND now expansive or TOO Cheap!
KClow, i wonder previously you ask people to buy more in HLIND. And I don't know where's all your post now? Have you deleted all your post? Now you tell people market downtrend ask all people to sell... hmmm something not right in sense. :)
Agree with SY, where to keep the cash and the return is faster than inflation? I just wonder that the interest rate 6.5% offered by EPF, ASN ... is not high enough to balance off the actual inflation rate.
buy next monday, estimate lose RM1500 next Tuesday. Then wait NARRA share in next Friday. Hopefully sell on 3.50x1000=3500. A RM2000 profit out of air. without capital, but you must first pay the loss of RM1500 perhaps.
Difficult to gauge whether it will drop further. But like I said, I believe the worst is over as it's difficult for me to accept that a counter with a combined eps of 0.77 can be trading at below 10x PER especially when Narra is a cement play.
If you notice, they will not allow Narra to drift too low. For the past few days they have pushed the counter back up towards the close. Yesterday they bought 50-lots from the seller and today it was 40-lots from the seller.
You will get 864-units of Narra. It's my understanding that the formula for the CA calculation of entitlement and exercise price is as follows: Assuming RM7.21 is the closing price before the ex-date, RM7.21-RM1.08/RM7.21 = 0.8502 which is the adjustment factor. The adjusted conversion price will be 0.8502 x RM7.20 = RM6.12. The adjusted conversion ratio will be 6-lots x 0.8502 = 5.10-lots. Verify with your remisier.
