Pos is so unreliable, sometimes when you are at home, they dont even bother to ring the door bell or call you. They just drop the pick up statement thing and ask you to go to their branch to pick up. This is why i hate pos and never use them unless forced to.
MAS was growing while having bad financial, so was proton.
Dont tarnish your reputation with this pos thing, soon, everybody will call you pump and dump chio. If mynews cannot make money operating 500 stores, then how can they make money operating 2000 stores? That is your logic. Pos dont have a volume problem, volume simply amplify their problem and losses. This qr will probably be equally bad.
At this rate, really think you go put in FD better. Don't buy.
Revenue and profit up and grow faster than GDEX, because syed mokhthar send fake customer to POS malaysia. (just in case syed mokhthar is reading this, i am being sacarstic, dont sue me pls)/

wallstreetrookie To be fair, all logistics and transportation companies have seen a rise in revenue but also the cost has increased due to expansion plans. Pos Malaysia is the veteran here so not affected. But their balance sheet is terrible. Decreasing net profit, revenue. Revenue-wise, Gdex and Tasco is on an uptrend. Apart from fundamentals, unlike the previous company you recommended (Opensys, Timecom) Pos Malaysia has NO moat and a lot of competitors and most importantly, it has a bad reputation around vendors and customers. Bad service. Slow delivery time. However, these type of issues also plague other courier companies of course. Making Facebook livestreams is just a publicity stunt to boost their reputation which has been damaged a long time ago. Look at MrDiy’s PR team. Also every day hire pretty girls to do Instagram live. That means they’re a good company too in terms of financials and management? 30/10/2020 2:29 PM
answer is YES of course nobody buys based on financials
people buy based on girls

How to be a pump and dump counter when everyone and I believe Choivo Capital got Pos at high price too. Everyone literally entered at the same price, who is pumping and how to dump? If ya you tell me this article come out and it is already flying 20-30% and suddenly it crashes few hours later to -10%, then ok la your argument may be valid. Wahlaowei, everyone collected same price now want to blame CC for pumping and dumping.
It’s not about you @BigBull99 I know you earn a lot in LCTITAN. But I was trapped. How about people who read Choivo scammer’s article later than you who got misled and ended buying at a higher price? Think about other people, not just yourself
Let’s say some people read his article on Tuesday and the price already got pumped. Now what. You become part of the pump and dump scheme and others who joined the party late become the victim
You were there the moment i posted, you were able to buy at RM1.85-1.9. My average cost for LCTITAN was 1.9 btw.
It went to RM2.7 in 3 weeks, and even today, it is RM2.1.
If you lost money, i have nothing to say, its your own failure.
Point to me one article or one comment, where i tell people to buy?
I always tell everyone, it is a trade for me, not an investment, You may act and think differently, because you have your own brain.
Target price is dynamic, dependent on each person thinking, sizing and risk assessment. Think about your own entry and exit price.
Today, i buy more POS at 930-935, sold some at at 960,950,940,930,925, buy a lot at 905, sold some at 955,950,945, buy more at 930.
Why? Because i am reading the sentiment, right sizing my investment etc.
Selling to buy other opportunities that have become cheap in market etc.
You want me update you every second? Use your own brain.
If no brain, pay someone with brain to manage your account.
I suggest you dont buy POS or any stock for that matter, put everything in FD better,
Later POS go to RM2, fall down to RM1.6. You write message telling me its pump and dump and i con you.
It takes a real talent to lose money despite buying at the bottom you know.

I think my comment got deleted, must be my comment too straight forward and honest. Anyway I'll try and rephrase my sentences more gently. My friend, we are responsible for our hard earned money. Take a look at the glove forum, look at the crazy TPs set by the IB, then have you ever wondered why nobody curse them when it dont reach that price? If you can recall several IB made sell call during the Sept plunge and next thing we know glove surge 40-50%. When they are at their peak they set new and higher TPs and next thing we know it tank. Did you scold them saying they pump and dump? I'm not siding with CC but we are responsible with out own hard earned money. Analyse and do your own calculated risk, thats all. Just FYI, there are more people trapped in gloves stocks than any other stocks now, they never shout or blame the IBs also. To be honest, a lot people i know are greedy, when go up they say aiya can still go samo why want to sell when they are sitting on 20-30% profit, when drop they start blaming people. Why are there so many losers compared to winners in the market is because they dont know how to take profit or cut loss.
His reason is simple, he pump low and dump high before the QR report comes out this november. Just like LCTitian. pump and dump. the new OTB and KYY. careful.
Yes guys, i'm a secret billionaire who likes to do pump and dump multi billion ringgit companies, or at minimum, companies with higher than RM500m market caps.
And all this with only a 6 person telegram group.
Its the most elite group in the world, only 500m portfolio and above can apply, yearly fee is RM 1m.
Seriously guys, looking at your inability to identify and admit to your own errors and failures in the market, i suggest you guys dont buy POS or any stock for that matter, and either keep money in FD or under mattress.
@Aiden, Read up on the send parcel bit. given how exponential the growth is, i think Q1-Q2 growth is fairly reasonable, and probably is a touch too conservative. If you have a better growth rate, you can do your own calculation and do your own risk sizing, target price etc etc.
@ChoivoCapital I did my fair share of study about POS and have been collecting since many months ago. Despite my TP being at RM5, I don't think next QR will have too big surprise for us. FY2021 will be very interesting.
Choivo just ignore them. Their trolls and you don't feed the troll in the Internet.
Your a value investor like me, researching the numbers myself shows that the companies profit's will go up in coming quarters, no need to care. You'll make money and they will keep saying the same thing and repeat what they said again and again to drive the price down. Even if Q3 and Q4 record profits, they will use the same example that 7 CEO's in 10 years to explain that your lying and pumping and dumping. Or look for other BS reasons like GLC companies always pump and dump. etc etc etc.
RM5 is well. I'm not sure if its worth that much. But then again you have your own perspective, and target price.
Good luck.

Ok, ill be honest with you, my position size is big enough to enter top 30. However, in the last 2 week since it broke 90 sen, my trading volume (sold/rebuy) is around 3 times original position size d.
Yes, i do it for trading purposes as i read sentiment, and yes, my broker very happy.
But where is the price now?
You must be foolish to think just me and 5 people can goreng this. Like how you think this 6 people can push LCTITAN a RM4-6bil market cap company from 1.8-2.7.
Also this is a bull market ah? You serious anot? Are you even in the same reality?
I really suggest you don't buy any stocks and keep money in FD or under tilam. It think for you, its possible to buy SUPERMAX at 1.8 in march, and still lose money today.
Too talented d, its as if even god don't want you to make money.
===== wallstreetrookie Buy and dump earlier than Choivo. You win. 01/11/2020 11:59 AM
wallstreetrookie Value investing at the peak of a bull market? Haha good luck. 01/11/2020 12:00 PM
THE PROBLEM OF CHOIVO, IS THAT HE TALK & WRITE GOOD ARTICLE ON LONG TERM BUT HE THINK VERY SHORT TERM MAH...!!

Think long term
“The big money is not in the buying and selling, but the waiting” - Charlie Munger
Finally, patience. If you’ve been you’ll know that we’re long-term investors at heart.
As humans we generally have a tendency for activity, we always want to be doing something. In financial markets, that can take the form of buying and selling frequently.
However, if we buy and sell, we unnecessarily interrupt the 8th wonder of the world from working its magic: compound interest.
To illustrate, if you start with $1 and it increases by 1% each day and is compounded daily for a year, it grows to $37. That’s a 37 fold increase.
After 5 years, that initial dollar becomes $77,002,912.
So long term investing is where the big money is made.
COIVO SAID THAT HE SAY "POS IS GOOD", BCOS HE THINK SHORT TERM LOH..!!
MEDIOCRE MANAGEMENT ARE VERY BAD FOR LONG TERM BUSINESS MAH...!!
I seldom read finish Ah Jon's articles as i found most of them very loli losau...the only 3 articles of him which i managed to read finish is his 2 write ups on Supermax n 1 on Pos....lol
Aiya. gaduh from lotte to Pos. Judi only lah. SM old already lah. 68 already leh. No time to bother all his companies lah. See all his ctrs also ai si beh si one like this. Pos 8 qtrs also loss making one leh. can get better kah. lol
wanna bet on pos, better bet on palm oil for short to mid term, confirm some palm oil counter will make good profit this quarter, maybe until first half of 2021 as palm oil prices has been rising. so, this nov the latest qr for most palm oil counter will be good, those badly managed companies will not see good results. between POS and palm oil, better pick palm oil, already confirm this coming quarter will be good, why gamble?
The Malaysian Communication and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has announced a two-year moratorium on the issuance of courier service licence, effective 14 September 2020 until 15 September 2022. During the enforcement period, it will not accept any new licence application for all categories of courier services.
It will also draft a new action plan via the National Postal and Courier Industry Laboratory (NPCIL) to support the strategic development aspirations of the new postal and courier industry, and shall publish the report at the end of November. This will give more clarity on the future prospect of the segment moving forward.
We believe the latest development is mildly positive for all existing courier service players including Pos Malaysia, as it puts a stop to the entry of new players. However, aspiring players could still gain entry via the acquisition of existing players. Meanwhile, in the absence of a major consolidation, the playing field remains crowded with 109 courier service licensees in Malaysia.
We maintain our HOLD recommendation, forecasts and fair value of RM0.90 for Pos Malaysia based on its historical P/B of 0.51x.
We believe the new norms (accelerated digitalization, social distancing, proliferation of online shopping, etc.) in the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic are positive to the parcel delivery segment (of which Pos Malaysia is one of the top three players in Malaysia). However, this is offset by an overly crowded playing field with cut-throat competition resulting in razor-thin margins, as mentioned.
Also, postal service providers around the global, Pos Malaysia included, are fighting a losing battle in the dying snail mail business. In order to survive, they need to: (1) cut cost; and (2) reinvent. We believe Pos Malaysia’s hands are tied given its unionised workforce. Meanwhile, its courier segment could be considered a “reinvention” (and it has an advantage over its competitors given its extensive legacy post office network). However, the segment is weighed down by cut-throat competition as mentioned. Source: AmInvest Research - 27 Oct 2020
