This counter does not need to advertise coz the profit is increasing with time . It will achieve another RM 13 soon...after that another split will follow suit. Just keep for your children coz it is safe n steady.

Scientx ala jual rumah teres 2 storey @ durian tunggal melaka, dlm 2 bulan sold out release phase 1 & 2,.....many people que at opening day, 8 khemah ready standby customer register , +/- 3 to 5 minit dari University Teknikal Melaka, .......

I like scientx because of its steady growth from year to year . It started at 1.50 n exceeded 13.0 .
After ex back to 6.50 n now around 8.70 +-. Given time , it can surpass 13 again.
The bulk of the revenue came from housing n it has acquired more land banks for expansion thru private placement of shares n not asking for more fund via right issues.
Thus , it share price is given a higher rating than its TP given by analysts.
The revenue structure presently is 60:40 for housing n manufacturing . With time , more prominence will come from manufacturing.
Groundwork already set for more expansion into USA for the manufacturing n to explore more business opportunities .
Housing concentration on affordable housing where the demand lies . So the surplus seen in housing has no impact or minimal impact on Scientx .
In conclusion , there is future in Scientx n holding for long term will not be a mistake.

Scientex Bhd is acquiring a 336-acre piece of freehold land in Pulai, Johor for RM284.2 mln cash, to be developed into a mixed property development. The group has inked a sale and purchase agreement with DKTMG Land Sdn Bhd for the proposed land acquisition, which will enable Scientex to expand on its existing landbank in Johor. Further details on the project was undisclosed, as the project is still at its preliminary stage. (The Star Online)

I like scientx because the co will not simply asking for more funds like selling rights to acquire land banks but instead using internal funds or cash or private placement to acquire landed assets . Second, dividend payment given an option to buy more shares at a discount at Rm 7.80 instead of prevailing market price at rm 8.70 . Thus , we can accumulate more shares at below market value though we may encounter like odd lots after that . Given extra shares this way will make the co stronger financially n the co will have available cash , more liquid on its cash flows . Future expansion of the co n to enhance targetary growth will not be a problem given the confidence shown by the management as well as all stakeholders be they big or small.

Hi all, I'm Newbie here. First time saw the DRP annoucement. Can anyone share the procedure to participate it? We just need to print out the form from annoucement link then send bac to company will do?
Or we will be receive the applications form?
Because i fill my address at hometown but I working outside. Not sure whether I should back hometown and check. Many thanks!

The reinvestment option is at RM7.80 per new share and the new shares must be in multiple of and not less than 100 new shares. That means you may need at least 7,800 existing Scientx shares and entitled final dividend of RM780 (RM0.10 per shares held), then you would use the dividend to reinvest to get 100 new shares.

@leslieroycarter I disagree: There is no such thing as definite. Comparatively, yes you will be better off doing DRPs compare to buying share. But you have to know your own opportunity cost. And again RM7.80 means your willingness to except a certain level of future return. If that future return doesn't meet the hurdle rate of an investor, the correct decision is still not to reinvest. Just because the difference is 16-17% doesn't mean reinvesting div is the right decision.
