1. Strong average CPO price in January and February 2021. 2. The average CPO price for March so far has been fantastic. 3. It seems like high CPO price will be sustained for some time. Metaphorically, you cannot slow down a speeding train immediately. 4. If the average CPO price is sustained at even RM 4000-5000 over the next 1-2 quarters, FY 2022 results will be good. 5. Both MHC and Cepat are well managed companies in good time or bad time.
CPO price is on d increase again! on 10/03/22, CPO price has rise to RM7511.50/tonne. Although their planted hectarage r small, their mills r running at full capacity! MHC palm oil mill(s) r buying n processing >60% of outside crop for CPO production! shortages of ffb harvesters n mill workers r not a problem.
MHC and Cepat have powers plant selling electricity, will they be getting higher sale price for their electricity considering the current high price of oil and gas? Anyone can enlighten on this ?
- if u study d Feb. '22 production figures of MHC: FFB = 9005 M.Tons ; CPO = 9653 M.Tonnes ; Kernel = 1591 M.Tons - u will noticed that they processed more ffb than what was harvested from their plantation! - a lot of smallholders n smaller plantations r selling their ffb crop to their mill.
If they pay RM1000 per ton ffb for outside ffb n they can processed 0.22 M.Tonnes CPO (i.e. 22% OER), they can easily made a profit margin of RM600/M.Ton outside ffb processed in their mill. Isn't that a whopping profits?
if they pay RM1000/M.Tons ffb for outside ffb purchased compared to their owned plantation ffb production at RM2200/M.Ton, their savings is RM1200/M.Ton ffb.
gud sign is MHC does not execute bonus issue, rights issues, pp, share splits, etc... since July 2012! not like other companies keep issuing PP, BI, RI or share split when their revenue or profits goes up or down! some even do shares consolidation to raise their traded price disadvantaging their royal n long term shareholders! their NOSH is low at 196.54m n showed no intention of doing all these nonsense to raise money!
@novice2020, d production cost is for ffb (normally RM1800 to RM2200 per ton ffb). Palm oil mill is ard RM1100 per tonne CPO. Efficient mill hv 22% to 23% oil extraction rate (oer) but less efficient mill can only achieved 19% to 20% oer. Take note that with higher ffb tonnage processed at mill, a 1% extra oer per ton ffb equates to huge profits!
MHC production figures does not include Cepatwawasan as they r of different company/entity with their respective financial accounting/reports!
@novice,investor Go look at Cepat and MHC quarterly report. They rank amongst the top in transparency in reporting on their production and financials. The 'green' (environmental) and the 'gold'($$) is in their conversion of waste to energy.ie EFB (empty fruit bunch) ,EFB oil and biogas.Electricity FIT(feed in tariff) cannot be changed but they can sell off the excess EFB and EFB oil. all lumped together in Power generation which contributes between 16-20% of profit
In April 2021, MHC declared interim and special dividends for a total of 4 cents based on 2020"s EPS of 6.76 cents ( 60% of 2020's earning), I hope in April 2022, MHC can declare dividend of 10-12 cents based on 2021's EPS of 21,36 cents. Possible?
Agree with you Markgold. Look at the below chart, even if CPO price goes down to 4k-5K, plenty of profits for Cepat and MHC. The FY 2021 results validated this consideration. Most importantly, the companies are well managed. Stay cool Bro.
MHC is undervalued compared to other oil palm stocks but unfortunately it rides on it's peers. I believe if plantations stocks surge this week it will likely follow. I don't see any downside risk for now. Patience is important.
KUALA LUMPUR (March 29): Malaysia is prepared to assist the UK and Europe over their impending edible seed oil supply crisis, said Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister Datuk Zuraida Kamaruddin.
"Should UK and other European nations need our assistance, we are ready to assist with supplying edible palm oil or cooking oil for their domestic and manufacturing needs".
Dear MHC thanks investor. I want to ask. Cepat declare 4 sen dividend. MHC hold 28-30 % of Cepat share. Does the dividend income will be reflected in Q2 report ? IF yes, mean Q2 result will be even higher than upcoming Q1 result. Am i right ?
The A380 just completed a demonstration flight fueled solely by cooking oil, as first reported by CNN. On March 25, the plane took off from Toulouse’s Blagnac Airport, fueled by Sustainable Aviation Fuel (commonly known as SAF), which is essentially formed of cooking oil and waste. The whole trip was powered by a single Rolls-Royce Trent 900 engine. On March 29, it conducted another test flight with another A380, this time from Toulouse to Nice, using the same fuel. The second flight examined the performance of the fuel during takeoff and landing.
Dividend of 6 cents per share is okay but below expectation. However, another important consideration in investment is the stock price appreciation, which will be dependent on the company's performance. MHC's performance is as follows: 1. P/E ratio:5.6 2.DY :5.0 3. ROE : 14.7 4. CAGR revenue : 11.9 5. CAGR PAT : 36.
How many companies in KLSE have such solid results? If you do identify such companies, would appreciate it if you could share the info here. Thank you.
