Capital A untung besar sekarang. Sudah mahu keluar daripada PN17.

Tahun depan ada dikenakan carbon fees untuk ticket penerbangan. Kemudian, orang Sarawak yang hendak ke luar negara kena transit menerusi Semenajung and Sabah. Bagusnya dapat earned orang Sarawak punya tambang transit. Orang Sarawak terpaksa membayar tambang penerbangan transit. Capital A pasti untung dengan pertolongan tambang transit orang Sarawak dan carbon fees tahun depan. Ha. Ha.

Aax or Capital A is like king of Spade. Whichever one you pick always ong one. AAX income big, profit could be big. On the other end Capital A always untung guaranteed because AAX need MRO, need SANTAN, need BIG PAY, need to pay royalties. Hehehe.

Very easy earned Sarawakian money. They need to transit before fly overseas. They don't have choice but to pay extra money for transit. During festive season, can charge high fare. They will pay the high fare to balik kampung.

(Sept 30): More Chinese are headed to Europe and other far-flung hotspots during the Golden Week holiday that sees hundreds of millions in the country on the move, in the most robust signs of a travel rebound since the country reopened its borders.

Asian destinations from Japan to Malaysia are favoured during the week-long holiday that starts Oct 1, while some of the fastest-growing bookings are to long-haul spots including Belgium, Croatia, Nordic countries as well as the United Arab Emirates.

The recovery of overseas tourism from China is a critical metric for the global travel industry. Chinese holidaymakers, known for outspending tourists from most other countries before the pandemic, made 170 million trips abroad in 2019 and spent almost 1.7 trillion yuan (US$242 billion or RM998 billion) — making up 14% of global tourism spending, according to World Travel and Tourism Council data.

Malaysia’s capital city of Kuala Lumpur has seen a 142% increase in visitors compared to pre-pandemic levels, as well as double-digit growth to Hong Kong, Macau and Singapore where visa-free initiatives have boosted tourism..

Time travel fast when you are having fun. Q4 has begun..

Stocks closed higher to start the week and end the month, with all major indexes in the green for September at Wall Street.

Monthly gains: Dow up 1.85%, S&P 500 up 2.02%, Nasdaq up 2.68%, Russell 2000 up 0.56%, S&P 400 up 0.98%.

Q4 outlook: Historically the best quarter for stocks, with the S&P 500 typically increasing by over 4% and being up 80% of the time since 1950. Inflation continues to ease, and the focus shifts to the upcoming Employment Situation report.

Fed Chair Jerome Powell’s comments: Indicated two more rate cuts this year, totaling 50 basis points, which is consistent with previous statements. Stocks initially sold off but quickly recovered, viewing Powell’s comments as bullish. Chicago PMI and Dallas Fed Manufacturing Survey showed mixed results indicating a soft landing and no recession.

Malaysian KLCI was the best performing index this year until the Dragon wakes up last week in China with a strong Bazooka. Now the Chinese Index in Hong Kong and Mainland China has overtaken KLCI.

Fortunately KLCI valuation is still 14X against historical high at 16X to 18X. when KLCI was at the peak in 2018. Our economy is improving, Relative Stable Politics, Better expectation of corporate earnings in 2H, Foreign Investors positioning is still light.

There’s optimism for a strong finish to the year and let's hope for the Best !

Fair mean you neither underpaid or overpaid for the assets based of NTA or Business (DCF) valuation.
Reasonable mean your paid price is over or below Mr. Market valuation.

So whether it is fair or not depend on the assumptions used on business DCF valuation

But to pay RM 3 billion for AAAGL is definately unreasonable (overpaid a lot) when Mr. Market only valued the whole of CapitalA at RM 4.049 billion as at 27th Sept 2024?

fair for Capital A's shareholders but questionable for AAX's shareholders. The fact that AAX's set of advisors is so much different from Capital A's top tier advisors and the sudden half-way changes to advisors (i.e. from AmInvest to Interpac) already tell you most of the story, either they dont buy in to the numbers post acquisition or the consideration for the acquisition just dont make sense.
