Personally, I don't think gamuda will get it if they are not willing to reduce more. They changed their tone but I doubt they will be willing to reach the level set by the consultant.

I think by cancelling and having gamuda re-tendering would send a strong message to every companies out there that the new gov is serious about a reform.

Government can issue public bonds for small investors like previous Merdeka Bonds for short term 2 or 3 years. I am sure the retiree will be happy to take up if the interest rate is higher than fd rate.
