They are trapping those contra players. This counter is not easy to trade and normal investment strategies do not work. They don't want normal investors to make money from this counter.

So the Tropicana staff are also not making money. It looks like all investors including EPF, all of us, unit trust funds and the Tropicana staff are at least in paper loss at the moment. Somehow, Danny will push up the price sometimes, a time that he finds suitable, and it is supported by fundamentals. I will still hold on to my investment.

The consistently low share price of Tropicana despite reporting good profit figures may well indicate that Danny's market brand name is nothing comparable to that of Liew Kee Sin whose EcoWorld commands much higher valuation despite reporting very little profit. EcoWorld's market capitalization is more than twice of Tropicana's.

In time of property slow, company that able to monetized landbank itself into cash and realize handsome gain still worth of investing, particularly, if disposal land alone already can realize net profit that is more than double of its share price.

No point in blowing his own trumpet when the consistently low share price merely indicates low public confidence in his company.
What a pity and shame as compared to Liew Kee Sin's EcoWorld of which the market capitalization is double of that of Tropicana although Tropicana reported much higher net profits.
Tropicana's brand name is probably hopeless in the investment community.....hardly any research houses bother to cover it in the last few months.....
