CMMT dropped the deal so Tropicana's plan to reduce gearing by selling off Tropicana Mall will get affected...that could take longer time to find the next potential buyer. This is a smart move, holding cash for a better buy. Remember how YTL acquired Starhill in history?...
Will Trop share slip further? Hahahaha

tROP will definitely slide further. Its highly geared and will be severly hit by DIBS and measures in Budget 2014. TS Danny Tan injected all his own land into TROP at inflated prices and TROP was trying to reduce gearing but could not make it in time. TROP was only able to sell off land IN USJ next to Commerce square to Mulpha

Both Tropicana Gardens (Kota Damansara opposite Giza along trafiic jamed Jln surian n Pandora Box (adjoining Subang train station without access to Federal Highway at the moment) were/are selling at RM 800-RM 900 psf. Overpriced. Flippers and speculators will be caught buying units in these 2 developments. Too late now to let go. Holding costs will be a financial burden

U still think Singaporeans want to buy and sell? As foreigner the RPGT extended to year 6 & 7 but then again their money here buys a nice property instead of HDB...do u think they want to flip??....maybe after 5 years & RPGT is lowest if they can't hold

Malaysian property at SGD500k is dead cheap at the rate of appreciation in flagship b.....Singapore property can go up and down by 100k SGD but Malaysia property has not show sign of decline....

Am very happy with RPGT but it will cause further escalation of property price if they control top tight on the loan. The foreigners esp Singaporean will buy and not let go at lower/fair price and will cause a surge....
