after 23rd July announcement of proposed private placement of 10%, this counter was hit pretty bad.....but the estimated time frame for the completion of the exercise is around 3 months time.

If 3 months time from the date of announcement, it is 23rd Oct 2013 tentatively .....

But prior to that, certain conditions need to be satisfied as per announcement dated 27th August 2013 :-

1)Tropicana and KIBB must fully comply with the relevant provisions under the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Securities (“LR”) pertaining to the implementation of the Proposed Private Placement; ~ is this one done ?

2)Certified true copy of the resolution passed by the shareholders in a general meeting approving the Proposed Private Placement; ~ I think this one was done according to the announcement dated 28th August 2013 & 13th September 2013

3)Tropicana and KIBB to inform Bursa Securities upon the completion of the Proposed Private Placement; and ~ yet to see the announcement yet. Target end of the Oct 2013 ?

Tropicana to furnish Bursa Securities with a written confirmation of its compliance with the terms and conditions of Bursa Securities’ approval once the Proposed Private Placement is completed. ~ yet to see the announcement yet. Target end of the Oct 2013 ?

Based on announcement dated 23rd July 2013, Item 2.3

Pricing of the Placement Shares

The issue price of each tranche of the Placement Shares, where applicable, shall be
determined separately and fixed by the Company after receiving the relevant approvals
required in respect of the Proposed Private Placement and after taking into consideration,
inter alia, the prevailing market conditions and prevailing market prices of Tropicana Shares
on the Price Fixing Date, in the following manner:

(i) Placement Shares are not priced at more than ten percent (10%) discount to the
volume weighted average market price (“VWAP”) of the Shares for the five (5) market
days immediately preceding the Price Fixing Date; or ~ is this the reason why they are holding it around RM 1.50 ???


Whatever it is....end of October might be a good date to make decision......

1) Budget 2014 on 25 Oct 2013 ~ counter measurement by Government to cool the property market ?

2) Completion of private placement of 10% announced on 23rd July 2013 - completion within 3 months time

3) 3rd Quarter Report Card at the end of November 2013

this is absolute distribution..no doubt...they've sold so many under 1.50 until it reached the lowest at 1.46..and then suddenly it closed at 1.50...same kind of trade since 3 months ago...slowly going down...don't touch and don't average
