the second tranche of private placement will not be lower the the 1st one tranche....looks likely it will be place at premium......they mentioned the placement shares are not priced at more than ten percent (10%) discount to the volume weighted average market price (“VWAP”) of the Shares for the five (5) market but never say it cannot be in premium....

the first tranche of private placement = RM1.78

if they purposely set on 1.50 VWAP....RM 1.80 approximately 20% premium....

PP can be = Private Placement or Project Planning.....but i think private placement is more appropriate at the moment

Who will buy the private placement share at premium more than 20%.? Everyone will look for the cheaper price, comply with the investment policy of Buy low Sell high.. So, is it better collect in open market..?

definitely not the retailers but institutional

imagine you got that size of fund, which can take up 10% placement, you try to collect that 10% from market with that volume....what will happen ?

i guess before they can get 10%, the price might far exceed the premium they are going to pay

it is indeed better to buy from market from retailer point of view, but not from the institutional point of view in my opinion

our "bursa ecosystem" consists of retailers, local institution & foreign institution players, don't always look from a retailer point of view.

Thanks nightshade.... that mean the institution players willing to buy the private placement share at the premium now.. and they very confidence the share will rebound soon, higher than the placement price (rm1.80) to recoup the immediate 20% loss... so, is it worth/ safe to invest at the current price, nightshade..?

safe or not safe...that one you have to decide yourself.....

from what I read & understand from those who have attended the recent EGM, the management gave assurance that the second tranche private placement will not be place lower than the first tranche private placement...the first tranche of PP was at RM1.78....

i see there is logic why they shouldn't place it lower than the first PP - if they place the future PP lower than the precious PP, how they wanna answer to previous investor taking up the first tranche of PP? who else wanna take up the future PP if that happen, knowing that the same fate might happen on them in future?
