Gloves stocks already oversold for months. Most of retailers and inst. investors already sold their tickets. Shorties already short 65 m tickets. Those sectors in klci index stocks other than glove stocks will hit hard tomorrow

You want to give a 1 off hard earned income to the government ? Just 10% of your life time saving, even after all these donkey years of paying taxes ?
Many, due to the low FD given by banks, had put in their savings to long term stock portfolio that gives good dividend yield. Such as Tenaga, Maybank, Public Banks and the various plantation counters due to their good profit.
The cukai makmur, 9% higher than the normal tax will erase at least 10% of the market value of these investment quality stock due to a reduction of that quantum of net profit.
Wealth distribution is for people who are willing to work for it. It is not meant to feed parasites by robbing those that work hard for their well beings.
1 off and 1 year is just an excuse. Plantation counters had been paying their fair shares of windfall tax, and now these unclear cukai makmur is awaiting for clarifications.

10 % of 2.72 billions shares is 272 million shares which cost only 540 millions at current price. If it drop to 1 .00 a share , supermx needs only 272 millions to buy up. if it drop to 65 sen , it needs only 177 millions. I will propose in the agm for supermx to buy up 30 % instead of 10 just in case the price drop to 65 sen. Then in next Oct , supermx can distribute 1 out of 3 to shareholders instead of current 1 out of 30.
Buy more in cheap sales is a virtue not a sin.lah .

I may.also propose to supermx to.cancel the shares from sbb instead of distributing back to shareholders.so that the shorties cannot.get to buy back the shares. Besides, eps will improve 10 to 30 % with correspondingly less number of shares . Afterall , the.market.appreciate eps more than cash in hand . So spending 540 million is worth it if eps can increase 10 to 30 % .

The announcement of sbb comes directly from supermx management not from me lah. The last sbb was in early Feb when the price was more than 6 . Now the price is less than 2 which is less than 1/3 of 6. Supermx management opined that it is worth doing sbb now when the price drop.further. Aiya,.supermx has been doing a lot of sbb before 2019 . Not something new lah. Those recd Treasury shares from the sbb before pandemic made tons of money through 3x price appreciation plus 10 x dividend payout in fy2021 compared with prepandemic. These are facts not daydreaming.

If u look SPMX shareholder list, the retailers consist only of 9.6m shares out of 2.62b total shares. Even the retailers sell all the shares, the shorties still cannot buyback 64m shares from retailers.
