tpchuayap - I have made a big mistake on this counter... accidently sold half of the share when the price increased, due to I have set my upper limit at 0.65... never expected it will increased so fast yesterday, no chance at all to cancel the selling order :(

Anyway, I am still holding on SKPRES and some other counters in my portfolio. AsiaPac, Matrix & Padini. All are for long term investing. Expected by year end will having good gain from those counters.

broker will force sell your other share lor. if no other share kena penalty or interest. so noneed kanasai one... :)

If you consider the situation of Scientex as similar, then you could expect the bigger company to go higher in prices. In the case of Scientex, after purchasing GWall, it went from about 2.50 to its current price of 7.50, all in less than 9 months and analysts are expecting higher. Of course, Scientex and Skpres are different but Skpres-Tec merger bears similarity in terms of synergy , efficiency, integration etc2

kptMx, I do agree your points. But 1 thing scientex different with skpre is scientex has been venturing into property market few years ago and property division become major profit contributor. Anyway, 2 become 1 is a better choice if it is effective and efficient.

Technic now is a dummy Company that finally will privatised because SKP still having more room to outperform in term of Price. Thats why they issue additional shares. Possibly targeted SKP price at RM1.00.
