every country will protect their food industry, setting up farm in Mexico and import it to USA is a bad idea. USA will protect their dairy industry by imposing import tax or something... unless that product is unique or not essential, like chocolate or rice
HY2022 results seem reasonable. I wonder why this company only publishes CONDENSED CONSOLIDATED STATEMENT OF CASH FLOWS plus some Notes to the Condensed Consolidated Statement of Cash Flows. Why not simply the complete cash flow statements?
Earnings should improve in the next result. Raw material prices have peaked and Mexican JV should start to contribute more by next year when health permit is approved for export by the end of this month.
This company is gone case. Sugar price going higher and higher. Profit margin going lower. Government and health authorities promoting low sugar consumption. The condense milk business will die a slow death as more and more people going low sugar diet/low condensed milk drink. As for the tin business, more and more food and chemical containers are replaced by plastics. This business is also going to die a slow death. Company bought a useless piece of land, increasing its debt. When cannot sell the land, still have to pay debt, risk of bankruptcy is real. Free cash flow is negative. No joke. Just cut loss and move on. Share price will go to RM 0.90. sell sell sell.
Will break 1.27 wall soon. 1.10 coming, then 0.90. sayonara. You all continue to trust in this sinking titanic ship, hoping for a miracle. Wise men already jump ship at 1.7 all the way to 1.3. See you at 0.90.
Last chance to sell before hitting next new 52w low. JV Mexico is a joke after many years still struggling to bring profit. Shareholders are in the dark but directors are silent. Profit coming soon...soon..after 5 years still struggling..and share price going lower each quarter. Property business burning up cash. It's what Peter Lynch said "diworsification", venturing into unrelated business with no experience is like marching into a slaughter house. Good luck all. I've sold all shares near the top around 1.90... thanks to those who bought my shares. Ha ha ha...
Glad to hear that you sold all at 1.90, brilliant choice! I am happy for you. By the way, why you seem still have concern on the future prospect of this counter?
90% of investors who bought shares of this crappy company since November 2019 is still under water. What a joke. Buy Q is going to collapse. Sellers keep selling to break 1.27. More seller waiting at 1.30 to dump the shares. Next quarter is going to be ugly due to high sugar price. Debt bomb is ticking.
When Mexico JV run at full capacity and the property sector start to contribute to the earnings, the profit shall hit RM 60 million/year. The share price will hit at least RM 2.0. Just wait and see.
@kedsheong you must be dreaming or smoking weeds, look at the seller's dump trucks above 1.30 waiting to dump the useless stocks. Sell sell sell before the dumping begins!!! See you at RM 0.9.
For the tin cans manufacturing segment, revenue increased by RM7.73 million from RM26.11 million to RM33.84 million is mainly due to higher sales demand in the current quarter. Profit before tax increased by RM1.32 million from RM8.90 million in the preceding year corresponding quarter to RM5.40 million. Higher profit before tax in the current quarter is mainly due to increase in sales demand.
Howardmark, I'm not smoking weeds. Your analysis was dead wrong!! Ableglob is a fundamentally strong company. QR result is excellent. When sugar price is normalised, next quarter's profit will surge even higher. Like I said 2 weeks ago, the profit shall hit RM 60 million/year. The share price will hit at least RM 2.0. Fair price is around RM 2.00 - 2.30. HUAT AH!! to all the strong hearted ableglobal's shareholders who believe in this company.
To all those who have sold at 1.30 and below, you have just sold at the very bottom of the chart. Don't worry, its still not too late to buyback your shares. Hold for the long term. Cheers😊
Luckily collected alot last few weeks. Howardmark want to collect low, no one will spend time to comment here if he no intention to buy. Just too innocent that thinking simply badmouth will lower down the price. BTW, The F&B is full of potential, either in oversea or Malaysia. Milk supply to school definitely a strong support for the revenue. Highest revenue and profit ever. (the Palestine issues maybe contribute some sales also). Management didnt mention about the factory runrate, maybe have great improvement overthere.
The group’s export approval for full cream dairy products to Mexico is still in the pipeline, but it is cautiously optimistic about obtaining the licence early in the second half of calendar year 2024.
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
