noah.. they just need to pay a one time off fine and provide the remediation actions to the auditors....and get them in to sight the evidences...then case close...license reissue....hovid supplies medicine to alot of local hospitals...as being transparent...the local pharmaceutical board will not delay as well.. patients need their medication that's why their other division can still continue to sell drugs..
reputation damage are all bullshit...it's just like if there is an Internet banking site that got hacked....then it will be closed for investigation by central bank...once fixed and reopen...does it stop people from using that bank??....cholesterol...High blood pressure and diabetes are life long medication and it is expensive to buy originals...most hospitals and clinics will use generic because it's half the price and does the same thing..dont forget hovid exports to more than 50 countries and generate alot of tax income to govt...they will expedite the process ..also it is the darling and cheapest pharmaceutical stock on bursa
noah, areas they are scurtinized is on cGMP and compliance issue. it depends on hovid manufacturing plant. How many production line they have? Mainly the ternolol part will be affected but they are auditing as a whole which is why the license is revoked. Once the agency is satisfied with the audit they will allow those line which are compliant to resume the production. Different drugs require different technique of manufacturing. Even thought this was a labelling issue, they have to audit as a whole as part of their SOPs.
They did an excellent job in the market by patient tracing. They went to the clinic removed the drugs, resupplied with new samples. And help the relevant people to track down the drugs and whoever who may have taken them. Yes the public and doctors will have a negative perspective but when you did a good damage control. Humans being humans, you will not reject fully of the company. Is like how air asia deal with the plane crash vs malaysia airlines. Do you all still take air asia? get my point.
Just merely stating on neutral ground, Hovid will be back as usual with loss ground in terms of profit and turnover. But life still goes on after that..
aceso is right...i would take generic anytime as long as it's cheaper for me...pharmaniaga is still very much strong now...most clinics in msia serve the large public all use generics....also all 1 Malaysia clinic use generics!...haha
they won't layan hovid so easily. Hovid has break the law. Must be punish first. you all think can suka-suka call govt to come an audit-kah ? You wait-lah.
you look at the bus accident in johor lately. The govt don;t care. They just cancel the company business license. Cannot run their bus business anymore.
ks5s...get your facts right....based on your comments you seemed to be one of those panic sellers...pharmaceutical is a regulated industry and David Ho and directors are genuine businessman....further they hold a substantial stake in the company. They have demonstrated transparency and accountability in this case. In boleh land anything can be settled...
ks5s, well respect your view on hovid. Hope you have sold all your remaining shares. agree with cooling. Its a tightly regulated industry and so far everyone has play role to rectify the issue. I dont see how hovid will fail or involved in insider trading. I think ks5S got the wrong idea of Hovid status with its license revoked. Hovid will be given a time frame to straighten and put in measures to this does not repeat itself. Even lets say it fails the audit again, they can resubmit and do it again till they get it pass. There will be no shutdown or cannot run their business anymore. Dont scare the fishes away LOL. If you did good as well.. i can collect abit tomorrow. On a serious note, Hovid can reattempt their bid for the license. Eventually it will be given to them, there is nothing difficult in this issue. Its a COMPLIANCE issue... not DRUG issue like the drugs is not working and formulation is wrong... If its a drug issue.. i agree with you.. things will be bad. Even if its a drug related issue, its only ONE drug... compare to its entire drug portfollio... they will still operate as in an usual manner.
I wont go on arguing about this... even for my judgement, we all have to wait till mid-Feb or March to see whats the outcome. Btw, remember one thing their qr gonna come out soon. So whether you guys wanna gamble abit because the operator will use the data that to reset the share price.. lol.. good luck peeps... happy hunting.. boo-yaah
No point buying pharmaceutical counters. Big change will come after trump take office in a few days time. He says will go after big pharma. Look how bad USA pharmaceutical stocks fell.
More recent new lah... C how after getting license back end Mar 17. Got to also look c look c general pharmaceutical industry... Profit margin sure affected due to trump. http://www.thesundaily.my/news/2123997

"Reputation damage is a long term effect". I too wish this were true. That in the real world, morality and ethics remain true and business comes second.
Well let's take a look at Wells Fargo fake accounts, 21st Century Fox Sexual Harassment, Mylan Price Gouging, Samsung Battery Recall, , Deutsche bank penalty..Where are all the stocks now? HAHAHA
Best time to buy in my opinion, is not when fundamentals are down, not when competition is heating, not when cash buffers are thinning, not when revenue slows, the best time is when reputation goes down. Because in the real world, noone gives a damn about reputation.
Cheap sale.......right? limited to 2 boxes only!!! Don't buy too many boxes.....got expiry date! Once expired.......it becomes CHEAT SALE not CHEAP SALE!!!
lol like i said.. i worked in drug industry....it will be puled off.. they will get back their license and will pass their audit. Worst case scenario they will hire temporary or part time senior personnel to hold the fort till the audit is over... Even they are clueless.. they will hire a few consultants in... setup the thing to pass the audit... eventually they will still pass...
should change business model, sell kacang! this share's only movement was during its license revoke, even MD sold out 2.5Million lots! how to expect anything apart from fund manager holding position and dropping lots every week, RUN & HIDE
i doubt it will drop back to 0.28... told u guys earlier... it will settled at 0.32.. all of you thought wil go bantkrupt/pn17 etc. Now too high to chase. My advice is look at the next qr results for mid to long term strategy. Short term gain in this counter is gg
i felt bad for those who bought at its peak and normal range 0.5-0.38.... i been thru that with vivocom relly bites you in the ass...at which price you bought freedomheal
