The Group reported an increase in revenue by 215% during the current quarter ended 30 June 2020 compared with the immediate preceding quarter. The increase was due the higher billings issued for the PCS that includes change orders approved by the client of which project and contract already successfully completed and closed respectively in the current quarter. Despite higher revenue, the profit before taxation decreased by 88% in the current quarter ended 30 June 2020 compared with the immediate preceding quarter mainly due to the impairment loss recognised for the vessel and property plant and equipment owned by the Group in the current quarter.
Hi @sirdukes, i have been following, and keeping Barakah shares since Feb 2019, been averaging since then. i have the same doubt as well, no one from Media promoting this share. Barakah is recovering, and it is a good news. i feel you too.
As i shared some time back, I first entered at 0.89 cents and continued to average down as the price plunged. Sold off with decent profits during the last price jump to 8 cents. Now re-entered and getting ready for 2nd round. It's all about timing now
guys don’t be disappointed, if you can invest a new project property hold 3 - 4 years for completion, then hold another few more years to assume value will go up but why not in stock trading. Disregard your property will get abandoned half way, major defects, development of the area got terminated or suspended and many many factors. Try to do comparison on the risks and commitments.
Bursa is always there cut lost cabut take about minutes. Now definitely not the right time to throw. A year ago yes, when petronas suspend barakah, when barakah fall into pn17, when white knight lecca fall from white horse. But now lol u shall hold tight
Agreed @taloha. The time to run was during the whole suspension, pn17, lost of white knight etc. Barakah managed to survive through that period and now has 3 consecutive positive quarter reporting. Hold on to your seats and be patient, i believe things will move upward soon
If I am Barakah creditor, I will agree with the restructuring plan. Better than get nothing. After Zaid Ibrahim join Barakah, their balls is big enough to sue petronas for compensation. Who is Zaid ? Can google and see.
Zaid ibrahim is a malaysian former lawyer & politician that why he got balls to sue petronas..big name come with big responsibility hope barakah sucsess in the future lol..
Barakah has, through its firm of advocates and solicitors, Messrs. Ram Reza & Muhammad filed a Statement of Defence and Counter Claim to PRPC on 13 March 2020 and 24 April 2020 resting on the fact that any delay which has been alleged by PRPC, was triggered by PRPC’s failure to pay PBJV’s progress claim. The Court fixes the next Case Management to be on 14 September 2020 Got any idea?
