Still a net cash company..the fundamental is still healthy ,but I don't think PRLEXUS will achieve higher revenue compare with last quarter with their only 19m inventories..
Skliew, Good sharing. We are here to share our view and opinion and not to lure people to support our investment. As an investor, we are keen to see the share price going up and up again. Despite we take profit on those good counter occasionally but we will re-invest if the price drop to reasonable level.
Not to influence anyone here but just to share I cut loss at 1.28 today. Reason being KLCI broke 1760 level entering bearish market, will wait for the next enter when situation turns favorable
Toto2009, we should hold on. The price nearly hit bottom..next monday will know any action taken by EPF..because on 1st trading day tis week, the price is well supported at 1.40 to 1.41. I' m interest to know who absorb the share..if the buyer is EPF, then share price will rebound.
Big funds control the market. Now whole market in the world very tension because of North Korea plus fed might increase the interest rate so whole market softens. Tesla shed a lot too recently, it will all adds up. We shall see what the big boys' going to do..
Toto2009, what does any individual security have to do with the KLCI, much less a microcap stock like Prolexus? Even in a "bearish" market, quality companies will rise. If the KLCI stays around 1750-1770, that means it will be rangebound and to the advantage of enterprising investors.
Today I queued at 1.26, sadly was not fulfilled. There is a small chance for a minor rebound on Monday, but most likely weakness will persist. I will queue at 1.24 on Monday for the week ahead. I do believe the bottom is near.
Niki, let's make it fair that KLCI movement based on all stocks movement. After all is up to your own judgement and decision. Here is only sharing opinion, not instructions. Happy trading
@ Skliew > Jul 7, 2017 05:41 PM | Report Abuse 刚看到的一个小故事,寓意深刻,愿与大家分享: ….. A Good Story and we can learn the lessons we can derive from it. TQ. Share prices can go up and down when QR is good or bad. Go back to 3-5 yrs of the company's performance and judge for yourself if the company is good? Work out a FV of the company. If the price has fallen way below the FV cos of QR, I think it is good to pick up.
Skliew has no dignity loh. Decided and announced something but retract his statements. No honour person LOL this is how to spot a two-headed snake! so his words cannot be trusted anymore loh LMAO
Everyone can give comments. but you are the one to press the button to buy/sell. please don't press button just based on other ppl comments, they don't care if you are making money OR losing money.
Toto2009, KLCI movement is ONLY based on 30 companies movement, not that of the entire market. For example KLCI YTD is 8%, FBM 70 YTD is ~12%, and FBM SCAP YTD is around 15%. All the indexes measure different range of companies based on market caps.
joetay, quality companies of course is very subjective. Parkson is hard to say lah, it has a weak balance sheet and is a declining industry. I have invested in it, but in hindsight I might not have done it. Seems a bit risky now. But in general "quality" refers to companies backed by solid fundamentals - I consider those like Tenaga to be such companies.
You must understand, Prolexus consumer demand doesn't follow Malaysia pattern (just 1-2% of sales are local), it follows the consumer demand flow of developed countries and regions like US and EU.
@king36, that's debatable. It is quite likely undervalued relative to its future earnings potential. The bigger issue is due to the shaky confidence in the stock how low can it fall?
Let's be realistic, the current share price has fallen free fall and need to wait for it to reach the bottom. Friday US derivatives closed higher, could help to support tomorrow if investors come in to support
Skliew, I am glad that you decided not to delete your posts as some of the info you shared is indeed very useful. Just ignore loser + hater like CKCS... while we are doing our research homework + investing, he only talks baseless nonsense + twisted words for his personal agenda...
It is very obvious he is trying to use some real number (so that he can claim this is all fact, haha, funny) to create/manipulate stories and try to link them together and create chaos... but those linkages are very lame and hard to convince ppl...
Fact remains a reality. It's just u cannot accept it when the facts do not favour to your objectives. Prlexus share price fallen so much does not mean it's a bargain good buy. When u spotted a SIGNIFICANT fall in profits is when the tide has changed and the obvious trend has emerged unless the next few quarter results show improvements.
So what makes u think Prlexus as a contract manufacturer for big brands from overseas will not be REPLACEABLE? Is it not susceptible to currency exchange rates? What makes u think Nike won't choose another contract manufacturer in other cheaper countries like Vietnam, Sri lanka, Bangladesh or Cambodia? Didn't u go to any shops and see that the labels of Nike shoes or apparels showing that it's MADE IN BANGLADESH, SRI LANKA, VIETNAM, etc. instead of MALAYSIA?
If u follow long enough, u will notice that this Dolly's FA is not good. What kind of stupid fundamentalist will defend those badly performing shares with changed fundamentals? The real skill is to spot and understand when is the tide and trend of a particular company has changed.
haha... let me laugh first before i say it loud... oh ya, CKCS's FA is the best in i3. He has his own interpretation on balance sheet and cash flow that no one (even accountant) cannot understand.. that is brilliant... he has shown his "superb" analytical skill and balance sheet/cash flow knowledge in evergreen forum... no one can understand... and everyone is against that... i guess that is definitely something so superior and divine that no one can even understand... just like a multi-award wining movie, you can never understand what the movie is telling u... clap clap for CKCS...
guys, u all need more jokes? go to Evergreen forum and see how joker acted...
Dead cat bounce is possible. The stock freefall continually from RM1.55...this is just a minor rebound. Go look at the Top 30 shareholders in the annual report and count how many Islamic funds there are...look at the shares they are holding. They MUST dispose all their shares (even at a loss) within 6 months latest.
When a share price collapsed like this, it will be a very long and painful journey to be stuck. Stop selling wrong ideas to people lah. Just because u are stuck like that stupid Dolly_Chai2, doesn't mean u have to sell like that loser. That loser only promote stocks that he's stuck in. If a stock is not good then it's no good. No point u defend it.
@nikicheong, Islamic fund is not a MUST, but is advised to dispose of their holding. See below for details...
Treatment of Shariah Non-Compliant Securities Frequently Asked Questions 1.How should I treat Shariah non-compliant securities that I currently hold? For investors who invest based on Shariah principles, the Shariah Advisory Council (SAC) of the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) advise to dispose of any Shariah non-compliant securities which they presently hold, within a month of knowing the status of the securities.
2.Can the return from the disposal of Shariah non-compliant securities be kept? Any return, either in the form of capital gain or dividend, received during or after the disposal of the securities has to be donated to charity. The investors nonetheless have a right to retain the original investment costs.
3.Can Shariah compliant securities be reclassified as Shariah non-compliant? Securities can indeed lost their Shariah compliant status due to reasons such as changes in business operation. Takeover and merger and acquisition (M&A) can also cause securities to become Shariah non-compliant.
4.How should I treat securities that have been reclassified as Shariah non-compliant? For securities that have lost their Shariah compliant status, investors must liquidate them promptly. Any capital gain arising from the disposal of these Shariah non-compliant securities made at the time of the change-in-Shariah-status announcement can be kept by the investors.
5.Can the disposal of Shariah non-compliant securities be done after the announcement day? For disposal after the announcement day, any excess capital gain derived from market price higher than the closing price on the announcement day should be donated to charitable bodies.
Nonetheless, investors are allowed to hold their investment in the Shariah non-compliant securities if the market price of the said securities is below the original investment costs. It is also permissible to keep the dividends received during the holding period. Once the total amount of dividends received and the market value of the Shariah non-compliant securities is equal to the original investment costs, investors are advised to dispose of their holdings.
