Unless, very remote possibility some big boy or boys willing to takeover this 16B debt.

To service the debt and stay positive, SAP needs 12B operating profit. That roughly needs 40/50B revenue. Even best of times, SAP can’t do this.

Sapura Energy Berhad (SAPNRG) has recently generated profits in two quarters. Specifically, they reported profits in the quarters ending on April 30, 2023 and July 31, 2023.

Sapura Energy turned to profit of RM82mn driven by recovery in E&C segment partly due to gain from reversal of contingency provision. This was above Mabel’s expectation. The stock price was adversely affected by the auditor’s unqualified opinion with regard to material uncertainty related to going concern in respect of FY2024 financial statement. Nonetheless, Mabel is still optimistic that the company is well on track to complete its PN17 regularisation plan amidst the upcycle in O&G development projects. Recent contract wins that boosted its orderbook by 40% to RM7bn further affirm Mabel’s stance. Hence, Mabel’s target price remain at 6 sen which is a healthy margin against Mabel’s holding cost.

Management leaves Loan restructuring to PNB while they focus on "steering this ship through turbulence”. When comes to Loan restructuring you need Real Banker, so PNB appoints CIMB MD as PNB CEO ( coming in this Month-July ) PNB New CEO is really not new, he was in PNB till 2019---guess what he Bailed-Out SAP in 2019?

In 2019, Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB) played a significant role in bailing out Sapura Energy Bhd. PNB invested RM2.68 billion in Sapura Energy. As a result, PNB became the company’s single largest shareholder, holding a 42% stake in the firm at that time. Despite the financial challenges faced by Sapura Energy, PNB expressed confidence in the company’s turnaround under new management...

It was still a good decision to collect today at a very good bargain price. In simple term PNB cost without considering of the 12.16% before the right issues (which is much higher) is between 30 to 41 sen per share. Based on it’s recent contracts and selling off National Assets, Sapura Energy has now joined Yinson to secured contracts valued at US$1.8 billion (9.13 billion reais) from Brazil’s state-owned company Petrobras. These contracts are for the provision of subsea services and six pipe-laying support vessels (PLSVs).

Scope of Work: The contracts involve subsea engineering, installation, and related services in Brazilian waters. The PLSVs will perform operations such as installing flexible pipes, electric-hydraulic umbilicals, and power cables at a maximum water depth of 3000 meters.

The contracts were awarded to joint venture entities: Seabras Sapura Holding GmbH and Seabras Sapura Participacoes SA. These entities are in collaboration with Paratus Energy Services.

Cash Flow Impact: Assuming the award of this project results in a 30% down payment, the estimated inflow would be:
2.5 billion USD (from the contract)
2.5 billion USD (from the OMV stake sale)
1.4 billion USD (existing cash)
This totals to 6.4 billion USD.

With these engagements. Sapura Energy’s successful contracts in Brazil indeed have the potential to significantly boost its cash flow and contribute positively to its future prospects. Weather forecast is still looking good to get out of PN17.

Imagine if they have secured the bank guarantee, they would have taken in more than RM 10 billion contracts across the Globe..

Nvidia recently executed a 10-for-1 stock split on May 2024. This means that for every one share of Nvidia stock, shareholders received ten new shares. Since the announcement, Nvidia’s share price has already increased by 33%.

I forgot about the AGM, my mistake. Will find minutes online. Just talking about PN17 does not mean much authorities. If he does NOT have approved REGULARISATION Plan by Bursa that he can demonstrate as carried out, then we are nowhere closer to the PN17 uplift. There can be no milestons achieved as there was no plan with milestones in it.
