I think i already found 4 JUR for leased( Gulf of Thailand, Vietnam, Australia, Ningbo China) So far only problem is Petronas DCR rate 70K/Day----too Low ( Saudi Area DCF worst 55K)
Sapnrg truly is the biggest in terms of debts too.
Mabel, oil and gas is a big industry and your question is too general. It involve upstream and downstream and then further segregated by 1st, 2nd and 3rd tier. 1st tier is at the highest value chain like oil companies which subcon to 2nd tier like Velesto. Then the 2nd tier also engage 3rd tier on some of the support services like manpower, catering or shipyard.
Why are we so anxious about contracts? This company is already hitting high utilization and gets preference from Petronas so contracts winning is like a given thing for this company. The bigger concern is when and how fast the DCR will move up.
This price level is like the bottom already but you have to set your expectation right. This counter is not going fly but crawl its way up. It hit the high of RM4.40 and i assume investors were paying this price on the assumption all rigs were operational at the highest DCR. Supposing that history will repeat in future, I am actually looking at a highest price of RM1.20 at best because the shares are a lot more diluted now than it was at RM4.40.
TX, jj sifu. I'm also very grateful fou sifu u n Master Calvin so hard promoting vele by u'r guys very professional advice n analys to us. Since the Lizardslayer comment n delete few times last week until sudden disappear right here but now quarrel at talam forum these few days. I just accu talam shares now since target for vele achieved last 2 weeks. Durian Musang King seems dropping here liow. Cheers!
everybody now in velesto, pnb, epf..dont sell..hold on tight..soon will fly to the moon.
buy velesto is nothing to do with someone recommendation...some of us have bought very early and still holding velesto. Please ler..dont claim master sifu here.
PNB selling to flushed out weak holders while EPF taking this opportunity to collect more.
Reason because more charter announcements in the coming months as Velesto capitalises on Petronas’ drilling programs for 2019. “Overall, with an improving outlook over the next 12-months, any short-term weakness in share price is an opportunity to accumulate,” said Maybank IB Research which pegged a ‘buy’ call on the stock.
For those still sceptical, have you ever wonder why are the big boys buying? Hehehehe..
Don’t say I never tell you all…I’m with Calvin….additional points not known to many
1) Confirmed Velesto will be getting awards from more than 2 major oil operators vele vele soon 2) Velesto is the only local rig owner in Malaysia and priority will be given to them by PETRONAS 3) Velesto rigs utilization will be above 90% if not 100% this year and remain high for the next few years 4) Velesto jack up rigs are very much in demand compared to tender assist rigs (Sapura sold off this division previously) 5) Velesto got impacted by the negative market sentiment unnecessarily all because Sapura case (see point no. 4 above). So once the general market understand this sooner than later, the share price will go up slowly but surely. My target is at least 1.00 by year end.
What you said is known by many people. What I want to know is how much is the DCR for these new contracts? I bet the contract value will not be disclosed.
I also doubt Sapnrg sold their tender rig business. They are the biggest tender rig player in the world now after buying from Seadrill. They will realise a big loss if they sell now.
To all still neutral investor, my advise to u is that too much of fundamental is unhealthy for u....in the end all fundamental number and theory claim here are just rubbish
Yes, RM1 is only a slogan, that I very agree. Current oil price is $70. Based on simple maths, for the share price to triple to RM0.90, the oil price must also triple. Do you think this is possible for the oil price to ever reach $210?
