Epf sold all (300m of Sap) at 0.580 in One Giant Block last year before RI. It takes me 2 days to figure that out -----no announcement bcoz below 5%... I think epf didn't participate in RI too. Sap as of today still carries Long Term Debt 11Bil + 6Bil short term Debt-----too much for Epf to Bear
Sifu is still sifu, unlike those ppl suddenly appear said they already bought very very early, ask me don't claim anyone here sifu/master. I just respect n appreciate their honest, sincere advice n analysts given here. Tq sifu jjchan. Luckily I sell chew cheong fun but no longer invest EPF anymore since last 3 yrs ago withdrawed all my deposit to pay my atap housing loan. Sad!
Epf must be Buying Velesto from 0.17 to now 0.290 (Participate in RI but percentage falls below 5%----I think around 3.5% after RI )----EPF will continue to Buy around One million per day for the next 3 months to achieve 7% total holding( just my guess)-----so what do EPF see in Velesto? Dividend payout--hahaha------My Guess is the Same as everybody----Capital Appreciation----Price??????
The probability of Velesto getting more jobs from petronas is getting higher as shared in petronas report + oil price. Once annocument out, I would see the price breaking the .5cent mark. Couple with good/strong qtr number from now on, will push the price even further. Indeed a promising stock to invest in.
don't listen to this conman raider, he combine with conman calvinT to pump n dump shares, hard sell day n night asking ppl to buy Talam...
Only idiot will invest long term in lousy stock like Talam which continue losses yr in yr out... selling assets oso cant cover losses.. going 2 issue pp.. pp will dilute nta...
Since it’s an open secret that Velesto will be awarded new contracts in the coming months, the share price will be more on the uptrend due to the bullish supply & demand factors.
With the announcements of new contracts, the big boys will easily push the share price even higher.
By the time the investment houses made their recommendations, the big boys will be selling slowly & surely while buying some to biff up the share prices.
To those sideliners at which level do you want to buy as the higher the price the higher risk to profit.
The pause in the shale patch is fueling higher prices. “We expect Brent to move into the $70-80 a barrel range,” said UBS’s Giovanni Staunovo, according to the Wall Street Journal.
For 2019, Rystad Energy believes the high free cash flow for E&P companies will continue, hinting that this could be another blockbuster year for these players. Three main factors drive this increased profitability:
**Higher oil prices: The oil market has gradually returned to balance after a period of oversupply **Lower costs: Since 2014 the cost of developing new projects has fallen on average by 30% **Lower activity: Global investments within the upstream industry have fallen from around $900 billion to $500 billion.
Even though low DCR rates. At USD70k per day, velesto can make better profits cos mobisations & demobilisatons costs will be borne by petronas. These costs are quite substantial
Based on the last Annual Report & the Current Shareholding by EPF, there were huge changes EPF AR.................estimate holding 260m (3.17% holding) Current Disclosure 413m ( 5.02% holding now......thats why have to disclose underwear) Hence estimate purchases between 16 sen to 30 sen estimate 153m Smart move at low cost
Mob and demob are always borne by oil companies. This is nothing new. More importantly is where is the mob and demob point. If the rig is in East Malaysia and the contract defines the mob point to be a location somewhere in West Malaysia, the oil company is not going to bear the mob cost from East to West Malaysia. The oil company is only going to bear the cost of the mob point defined in the contract (normally it's a supply base) to the drilling area in West Malaysia.
It’s stated in velesto reports that they have been bearing such costs . Only now petronas said they’ll cover it. Anyway the coming few quarterly reports will show the effects . Velesto’s future looks promising maybe not the March quarter but thereafter. At least the share price has bottomed out provided crude oil does not crash. Good luck everyone
