A person who owns shares in Reach actually owns a portion of the oil reserves from 1P. The oil exist and is proven. Oil is a product that always have demand. You need oil for cars to move, you need oil for planes to fly, you need oil for making plastics, you need oil to generate electricity in some places.

Next year , Reach will drill on 3 new wells to look for new oil in the Emir - Oil region. It is easy to dig on the land and the costs is much lesser than to dig off shores wells in the deep seas like Hibiscus.

The main reason for supply crunch in the oil industry is for the past 4 years oil price was very low, hence capex is at its historical low. When the demand catches up, there isn't enough of oil to meet the robust demand

High oil price increases cost of doing business. High oil price only benefits oil producers. Malaysia will benefit, Reach Energy will benefit.

Ya, cause inflation. Oil companies have not been doing good in earnings these couple years. They will have to go high again to earn some.
