Taoism, an ancient Chinese philosophy and religion, often uses the characteristics of water to convey its fundamental principles. Here are the three main characteristics of water in the context of Taoism:

Adaptability: Water is known for its ability to adapt to its surroundings. It takes the shape of whatever container it's in, and it flows around obstacles. Similarly, Taoism teaches the importance of being flexible and adaptable in life. It encourages individuals to go with the flow, adapt to changing circumstances, and not resist the natural course of events.

Softness and Strength: Water is gentle, yet it can erode even the toughest materials over time. This duality of softness and strength is a core aspect of Taoist philosophy. It suggests that one can achieve great things through a gentle, non-confrontational approach, much like water's patient, persistent action.

Balance: Water seeks its own level, always maintaining a sense of equilibrium. In Taoism, balance and harmony are crucial principles. Just as water finds balance in its flow, individuals are encouraged to seek balance in their lives by harmonizing their inner and outer worlds. With these properties, water can nourish the world.

These characteristics of water in Taoism serve as metaphors for how individuals can lead a positive, adaptable and harmonious life by aligning with the natural order of the Tao (the Way).

Ethanian Universalism for kids

The typical human body has 4 × 1027 hydrogen atoms and 2 × 1027 oxygen atoms in it! If each of us accumulates atoms randomly, that still means that each of us, on average, have hundreds of billions of atoms that were, a year ago, inside each and every other person on Earth. Hundreds of billions of atoms are in your body not only from me and everyone else on Earth, but also from dinosaurs that lived millions of years ago.

Wars help the rich magnates in the business of weaponry, contractors and money printing. And rich countries will only get richer and the poor countries will get poorer as they get entangled in nonproductive time waster activities, counter economic growth donation, etc etc.

Unfortunately human are emotional, rather than rational, beings. They embrace divisive ethnocentrism and exclusive theologism, rather than encompasing compassionate universalism. Regional leaders, education system and media propaganda don't help the commoners to understand better.

In the midst of this ongoing crisis, hypocrisy finds itself standing on shaky ground. Hypocrisy, in its truest form, is embodied by those who adhere to archaic texts replete with glaring contradictions and dehumanizing labels, the likes of which include the unjust and divisive practice of labeling individuals as coffee harbi, among other derogatory terms. And innocent school children are unfortunately exposed to these texts.

Such hypocrisy is akin to a stark double standard, where individuals profess to follow a set of beliefs, yet in practice, their actions betray the very principles they claim to uphold. The use of these labels serves to create a rift among people, fostering animosity instead of understanding, and perpetuating the cycle of prejudice and discrimination.

In these times of crisis, we should strive for empathy, unity, and open dialogue, setting aside divisive and harmful labels. It's a reminder that true harmony can only be achieved when we cast aside hypocrisy and embrace the values of compassion, inclusivity, and respect for all, regardless of their beliefs or backgrounds.

The concept of achieving independence of a person's mind through the breakthrough of the Plato cave allegory journey is a profound philosophical idea. Plato's Allegory of the Cave, from his work "The Republic," serves as a metaphor for the process of gaining knowledge and understanding, ultimately leading to intellectual and emotional liberation.

In the allegory, people are depicted as prisoners chained in a cave, facing a wall where they can only see shadows cast by objects behind them. These prisoners mistake these shadows for reality and have never seen the outside world. However, one of the prisoners is freed and compelled to journey out of the cave. Initially, the outside world is blinding and disorienting, but as the individual becomes accustomed to it, they come to understand that the cave's shadows were mere illusions.

Achieving independence of one's mind through this allegory involves several key elements:

1. **Breaking Free from Ignorance**: The journey begins with a realization that the world perceived in the cave represents a limited, illusory version of reality. Breaking free from the chains symbolizes breaking free from ignorance and realizing there is more to the world than what we initially perceive.

2. **Intellectual Enlightenment**: As the person ventures out of the cave, they are exposed to the true nature of reality, representing the pursuit of knowledge and intellectual enlightenment. This newfound knowledge challenges their previous beliefs and expands their understanding.

3. **Independence of Thought**: Through this journey, the individual gains the ability to think independently and critically. They no longer accept the shadows as reality but question and analyze their surroundings, forming their own conclusions.

4. **Freedom from Conformity**: The prisoners in the cave represent conformity and the unquestioning acceptance of societal norms and dogmas. The liberated individual, by gaining insight into the true world, escapes the confines of societal conformity and gains freedom of thought and belief.

5. **Moral and Ethical Awakening**: Plato's allegory also suggests a moral dimension to this journey. The enlightened person not only understands the world differently but is expected to use this knowledge for the betterment of society. They develop a sense of responsibility and a desire to share their wisdom with others.

In essence, achieving independence of the mind through the Plato cave allegory journey symbolizes the transformative power of knowledge, critical thinking, and self-discovery. It emphasizes the liberation from ignorance, the ability to perceive reality more accurately, and the moral duty to use one's newfound wisdom to improve the human condition and guide others out of the "cave" of ignorance.

Certainly, the Socratic method plays a valuable role in education, but it's important to understand why it's considered essential for a comprehensive educational experience:

1. Critical Thinking: The Socratic method encourages children to think critically and independently. By posing open-ended questions and engaging in dialogue, it helps students learn how to analyze, evaluate, and question information rather than simply accepting it at face value. This critical thinking skill is essential for making informed decisions throughout life.

2. Questioning Everything: Socratic dialogue pushes children to question everything around them, including their beliefs, assumptions, and the world itself. This promotes curiosity and a thirst for knowledge, which are fundamental to lifelong learning.

3. Self-Discovery: Through Socratic questioning, students often discover their own thoughts, values, and principles. It aids in self-discovery, helping children understand their interests, passions, and convictions, which is crucial for personal development.

4. Effective Communication: Mastering the Socratic method requires children to articulate their thoughts and ideas clearly and persuasively. This fosters effective communication skills, which are valuable in both personal and professional life.

5. Exploration of Multiple Perspectives: The Socratic method encourages children to consider different viewpoints and engage in constructive debate. This helps them develop empathy and respect for diverse opinions, fostering tolerance and open-mindedness.

6. Lifelong Learning: The Socratic method is not just about finding answers; it's about embracing the process of inquiry and continuous learning. Children who master this method are more likely to be self-directed learners throughout their lives.

7. Problem Solving: By dissecting complex issues and identifying underlying assumptions, the Socratic method equips children with problem-solving skills. They learn how to break down challenges into manageable parts and develop strategies for resolution.

8. Ethical and Moral Development: As students explore ethical dilemmas and moral questions through Socratic discussions, they develop a deeper understanding of right and wrong, contributing to their moral and ethical development.

9. Application to Everyday Life: The Socratic method is not limited to academic subjects; it can be applied to real-life situations. Children who can critically examine various aspects of living life are better equipped to navigate the complexities of the modern world.

In conclusion, the Socratic method is a powerful tool that fosters critical thinking, self-discovery, effective communication, and lifelong learning. While it may not be the sole method in education, it is an essential component for developing well-rounded individuals who can navigate life's challenges, make informed decisions, and engage with the world in a meaningful way. Therefore, mastering the Socratic method is a crucial part of a comprehensive education that prepares children for the complexities of living life to the fullest.

Young school children should not be dragged into complicated, complex, and controversial Middle East wars for several critical reasons:

1. Developmental Inappropriateness: Immature young children lack the cognitive and emotional maturity to understand the complexities and nuances of international conflicts. These issues are often rooted in historical, cultural, and political contexts that are beyond their comprehension.

2. Emotional Well-being: Involving children in war-related activities can lead to trauma, anxiety, and long-lasting emotional distress. Witnessing violence, suffering, and death can have a profound negative impact on their mental health and development.

3. Physical Safety: War zones are dangerous places with inherent risks to life and well-being. Children are particularly vulnerable, and their involvement in conflict zones places them at significant physical risk.

4. Education Interruption: Involving children in wars disrupts their access to education, which is essential for their personal development and future prospects. Disrupted education can have long-term consequences on their ability to thrive and contribute positively to society.

5. Violation of International Laws: Using child soldiers or involving children in conflicts is considered a violation of international laws and human rights, as outlined in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.

6. Loss of Childhood: Children have a right to a safe and nurturing childhood. Involving them in war robs them of this fundamental right and forces them to confront adult challenges prematurely.

It is crucial to protect the well-being of children and ensure they grow up in safe and nurturing environments, shielded from the horrors of war and its complexities.

Using derogatory terms like "kafir" or "caphir" to label non-Muslims, especially among school children, can have several harmful consequences:

1. **Promotion of Intolerance**: It encourages an atmosphere of religious intolerance and discrimination. Such labels can lead to prejudice and hatred against individuals of different faiths, fostering division and hostility.

2. **Bullying and Harassment**: This can lead to bullying and harassment of non-Muslim students. It creates a hostile environment where children are singled out and mistreated based on their religious beliefs.

3. **Psychological Impact**: Being called derogatory names can have a lasting psychological impact on children. It can lead to feelings of isolation, low self-esteem, and even mental health issues.

4. **Eroding Social Cohesion**: Schools should be places where diversity is celebrated, and respect for different backgrounds is fostered. The use of derogatory terms undermines these principles and weakens social cohesion.

5. **Educational Impact**: Such behavior can disrupt the learning environment, as students may be more focused on their safety and well-being than on their studies.

6. **Legal and Ethical Concerns**: In many countries, using derogatory terms to target individuals based on their religion may be considered a hate crime or a violation of anti-discrimination laws.

In essence, using derogatory terms against non-Muslims, or against any religious or cultural group, is harmful and goes against the principles of tolerance, respect, and inclusivity that should be promoted in schools and society at large. It's important for educators, parents, and communities to address and prevent such behavior and teach children about the value of diversity and respect for all.

On the other hand, a deep understanding of fundamentalism can potentially divide people eternally for several reasons:

1. **Rigid Belief Systems:** Fundamentalist ideologies often promote strict, unyielding belief systems. When individuals deeply understand and adhere to these ideologies, it becomes difficult for them to accept alternative viewpoints or engage in constructive dialogue with those who hold different beliefs.

2. **Ingroup-Outgroup Dynamics:** Fundamentalist groups tend to create strong ingroup-outgroup dynamics, where members feel a deep sense of identity and belonging within their group. This can lead to a perpetual "us vs. them" mentality, making reconciliation or compromise with outsiders seem nearly impossible.

3. **Lack of Critical Thinking:** Fundamentalism often discourages critical thinking and encourages unquestioning faith in doctrine. When individuals lack the ability to critically examine their beliefs, it can be challenging to bridge gaps with those who employ reason and evidence to support their views.

4. **Cultural Isolation:** A deep understanding of fundamentalism can lead to cultural isolation. Fundamentalist communities may limit interaction with those who don't share their beliefs, leading to further division and a lack of exposure to diverse perspectives.

5. **Historical Grievances:** Many fundamentalist movements are rooted in historical grievances or perceived injustices. Deep understanding of these grievances can fuel long-standing conflicts and resistance to reconciliation efforts.

6. **Fear of Change:** Fundamentalism often resists change and modernization. Deeply understanding the fear of change can perpetuate divisions as fundamentalists resist evolving societal norms and values.

7. **Echo Chambers:** Fundamentalist communities can serve as echo chambers, reinforcing their beliefs and shielding members from alternative viewpoints. This reinforces division and hinders open dialogue.

8. **Religious or Ideological Superiority:** Fundamentalism can breed a sense of religious or ideological superiority, making it difficult to engage in respectful discussions with those perceived as inferior or misled.

While deep understanding can be valuable for promoting empathy and dialogue, it can also, paradoxically, solidify divisions when it leads to a more entrenched commitment to fundamentalist ideologies. Breaking down these divisions often requires patience, open-mindedness, and efforts to foster understanding and empathy across different belief systems.

Utmost admiration for Datuk Willie Mongin, who has shown exemplary courage in championing the cause of innocent school children. His resounding message serves as a clarion call to prioritize education over propaganda within our educational institutions. It's a call to nurture young minds, encouraging them to harness the incredible power of critical thinking and intellectual growth, fostering a generation of contributors to our community's welfare.

In an era where information and ideologies can easily influence young and impressionable minds, Datuk Willie Mongin's unwavering commitment to the sanctity of education is both timely and invaluable. His stance sends a powerful message, echoing the belief that the classroom should be a sanctuary for learning, a place where the fertile soil of curiosity is cultivated, and the roots of empathy, tolerance, and wisdom are allowed to flourish.

The emphasis on using the brain as a tool for thoughtful analysis and creativity is not only a beacon of hope for the children but a testament to the potential we have to shape a brighter future. It underscores the significance of teaching our youth to be active participants in our society, to engage in constructive dialogue, and to contribute positively to the collective good.

Datuk Willie Mongin's advocacy is a reminder that, at its core, education is a beacon of enlightenment, a vessel through which we can navigate a world filled with challenges and opportunities. It is a tribute to the unwavering commitment of individuals who refuse to let education become a battleground for divisive ideologies, but rather a sanctuary for open-mindedness and progress.

In recognizing and applauding Datuk Willie Mongin's dedication to this noble cause, we honor the vital role that education plays in shaping the destiny of nations and the potential within each child to become a force for positive change in our world.

Tips:

1. Reverse aging vessels

Understanding evolution to reverse aging by activating the SIR gene and optimizing individualized stress exposure and endurance is a comprehensive approach that has the potential to reduce the risk of cancer, heart disease, and promote longevity.

Evolutionary Insights: Evolutionary biology offers us insights into how our genes, including the SIR gene, have evolved over time to protect our species and ensure our survival. By understanding the genetic and cellular mechanisms that have evolved to maintain health and longevity, we can leverage this knowledge to address aging-related health issues.

Aging and Disease Risk: Aging is a significant factor in the development of many chronic diseases, including cancer and heart disease. As we age, our cells accumulate damage, and our body's repair mechanisms become less efficient. The SIR gene is associated with DNA repair and maintaining cellular health, making it a critical target for interventions.

Individualized Stress Exposure: Stress, when properly managed, can stimulate adaptive responses in the body. Individualized stress exposure acknowledges that the optimal level and type of stress may vary from person to person. By identifying an individual's stress threshold, we can design interventions that promote health and longevity while minimizing harm.

Cancer Risk Reduction: Individualized stress exposure and the activation of the SIR gene can potentially reduce cancer risk. Chronic stress and cellular damage are risk factors for cancer. By optimizing stress exposure and enhancing DNA repair, we can lower the likelihood of mutations that lead to cancer development.

Heart Disease Risk Reduction: Heart disease is closely linked to the aging process. By promoting cellular repair and health through SIR gene activation, we can mitigate the age-related factors that contribute to heart disease. Proper stress management and endurance training can also improve cardiovascular health.

Longevity and Healthy Aging: The ultimate goal is to extend human lifespan and promote healthy aging. By activating the SIR gene, reducing cellular damage, and optimizing stress exposure, we aim to slow down the aging process and maintain health and vitality into old age.

2. The Evolutionary Origin of Autoimmune basis for Diseases, Mediated by Shared Last Universal Common Ancestor Antigens, Explains Molecular Mimicry and Autoantibodies Cross-Reactivity to Prevent Systemic Inflammation Leading to Damage to Insulin Receptors, Accelerated Atherosclerosis, and Ischemic Heart Disease.
Autoimmune diseases involve the immune system mistakenly attacking healthy cells and tissues in the body, leading to a range of disorders. While the causes of autoimmune diseases are complex and multifactorial, shared antigens from the Last Universal Common Ancestor (LUCA) may have contributed to these conditions, particularly in the context of insulin resistance due to damages to the insulin receptors, inflammation-mediated accelerated atherosclerosis, and ischemic heart disease.
The LUCA is the hypothetical common ancestor of all life on Earth and dates back billions of years. While LUCA and human evolution are separated by vast time scales, it's possible that common antigenic elements were conserved throughout evolution. This shared antigenic heritage may contribute to molecular mimicry and cross-reactivity in the immune system.

Molecular mimicry is a phenomenon where pathogens or foreign antigens share structural similarities with self-antigens, potentially leading to cross-reactivity. Over time, the human immune system has developed to recognize and respond to pathogens, some of which may have antigens resembling self-antigens. This mimicry can trigger the production of autoantibodies that mistakenly target self-antigens.

Systemic inflammation resulting from autoimmune responses can damage various tissues and organs, including insulin receptors, which play a crucial role in regulating blood glucose levels and preventing diabetes mellitus. By linking the origins of autoimmune diseases to shared LUCA antigens, this hypothesis suggests that understanding the evolutionary context of autoimmunity may provide insights into mechanisms to prevent systemic inflammation and subsequent damage to insulin receptors.

Low-grade systemic inflammation is also associated with accelerated atherosclerosis, a condition characterized by the buildup of plaque in arteries, and ischemic heart disease, which can result from reduced blood flow to the heart muscle. By better understanding the evolutionary basis of autoimmune diseases, we may uncover ways to mitigate the inflammation that contributes to atherosclerosis and ischemic heart disease.

In a recent development, schools in Sabah and Sarawak have received word from their respective state governments that participation in the solidarity week program is now optional. Interestingly, the heads of mission schools have taken an even bolder stance by declaring their intent to disregard this directive. It's worth noting that the coalitions governing these two states are significant players in the overarching unity government.

On a separate note, Sarawak has boldly rejected a recent warning from Anwar, issued just last week, which stated that any communication with government departments in languages other than Malay would not be considered. This stands as a testament to the complex dynamics and diverse linguistic landscape in the region.
