He tends to respond emotionally or impulsively to public matters without fully considering the consequences, it shows a level of immaturity. Youth leaders are expected to display calm and composed behavior, especially under pressure, to set a positive example for younger generations. Reactionary leadership may lead to divisiveness and confusion rather than fostering constructive dialogue.

Where he has made incorrect or inflammatory statements, failing to issue a proper apology or retraction shows a lack of emotional maturity. A leader worthy of the youth’s respect would acknowledge mistakes, offer sincere apologies, and work to rebuild trust. Without this, young people may be misled into believing that arrogance and stubbornness are acceptable traits in leadership.

He frequently uses divisive or inflammatory rhetoric in his speeches or social media presence, it can be seen as a sign of immaturity. Youth leaders are role models for communication, and their words should inspire and unite rather than provoke and divide. Impulsive or inflammatory language can create unnecessary tensions in a society already dealing with sensitive issues like religion, race, or cultural differences.

A key responsibility of any youth leader is to inspire positive change and forward-thinking ideas. If his communication style focuses more on criticism, conflict, or sensationalism rather than promoting growth, innovation, and unity among the youth, it would highlight his lack of maturity and readiness for the role.

Immaturity in leadership can manifest as short-sightedness or an inability to see beyond immediate issues. Focusing primarily on short-term controversies or reactionary policies without presenting a broader, long-term vision for the youth of Malaysia, it reflects poorly on his leadership capabilities. A true youth leader should inspire a long-term vision that encourages personal growth, societal responsibility, and global-mindedness.

Disrespectful of seniors- A mature leader is open to learning from others and engaging in constructive dialogue. Egoistically showing resistance to listening to opposing views or demonstrates a rigid mindset, he may lack the maturity needed to navigate the complexities of leading young people in a diverse, pluralistic society. Effective youth leaders need to model open-mindedness and the ability to adapt based on feedback and constructive criticism.

Failing to Address Core Youth Issues: Immaturity in leadership can also be seen in the failure to address the real issues faced by youth today, such as education, employment, mental health, and climate change. His kangkung leadership lacks substance in these areas and is more focused on trivial or sensational topics, it reflects a lack of depth and maturity in understanding what truly matters to the youth.

Setting a Poor Example: Youth leaders are role models, and their actions and words significantly influence the attitudes and behaviors of the younger generation. Exhibiting impulsive behavior, poor judgment, and immaturity, he sets a poor example for the youth who may emulate these qualities. Youth leaders should embody qualities like patience, wisdom, and the ability to navigate complex issues with grace and composure.

Maturity in leadership also involves integrity—standing by principles of honesty, fairness, and respect. Engaging in behavior that lacks these qualities, it signals a failure to lead by example. The youth need leaders who can guide them not just with rhetoric, but through integrity in their actions.

A leader responsible for guiding the next generation must display sound judgment, responsible communication, and a deep understanding of the challenges facing youth. Demonstrating a pattern of impulsive decisions, inflammatory rhetoric, and a lack of accountability, he risks being viewed as unworthy of the trust placed in youth leaders. A mature, responsible youth leader should inspire hope, foster dialogue, and guide the younger generation toward growth and unity, qualities that seem to be lacking in this case.
