Get ready extra funds for rights issue. Or be prepared for the dilution of existing shareholdings as it is inevitable the company will have to raise funds.

It is recorded that the share price went down to 0.535 on 19/9 and then hit 0.80 on 25/9 . Since then, it has been plummeting until now without sign of return . It is clearly an illusion that the company is recovering. It remains to be seen if DP is in the interim or not . It is believed that the Market is factoring more and more negative implications surrounding the company day in day out . Though the stories are old , they are still valid and haunting the company and is believed to be insidious ..

It is doubtful if the existing shareholders would subscribe for the Right issues ( RI) as the majority of the existing shareholders are said to be unhappy with the current management. It is expected the RI to be undersubscribed which could further depress the share price for its inability to raise fund through RI due to loss of confidence among the shareholders..

If all Joyvest say is true the counter is worthless. Unless you are speculating.. Right now what is confirmed is there is war within the management, which is not a good thing for the company.

When you have decided to acquire company of high tech , you should be well prepared to adapt to embrace the latest technology in this dynamic world to keep yourselves to be at the upper edge in terms of competitiveness at all times. However, what the EC , Mr.Law does is on the contrary , still talking on paper on the upgrade of old facilities , review of dividend policy ( basically no dividend policy ) , placement of deposits to secure sales as a boost to enhance revenue , reservation of the cash resources for their agenda and etc etc . Basically, he and his gang have sent the signals to the market that the company is on verge of sunset......

No sign of stop dropping. Follow deMark 9-days theory, now is at 6th day dropping.
Follow HOH-LOL, 3.00 - 0.088, rough estimate 50% is ~1.5, 25% is ~ 0.8, 12.5% is ~ 0.4, 6% is ~ 0.2. Looking at the rate the price drop, it will be hitting 440 soon.
If bought at higher price, common practice is to cut loss and get out first, keep the fund, re-enter when pricing stop dropping and showing sign of moving up.
Without good news, good performance, good prospect in near future, the price may stay keep dropping or stay flat for a period of time.

Liaw is not fit to be the EC of GT and nor is Ku. It is a shame for Ku to be a professional CA. I don't like to demean anyone but I have no choice .They never act in the best interests of the shareholders but sabotaging the company. They should be removed from the BOD with immediate effect.

The moment when the silly management made their incumbent auditors ,KPMG to resign, they have already alerted the authorities that something fishy has been going on.It is a matter of time on the authority to crack on them

These Liaw and ku should be removed in GT and SCIB as well in addition to APB as evident in the reflection of their current pathetic share prices.

In long as they are still sitting there, it is believed that there is no growth prospects of these companies....

Yes, ever since the founders and parties have changed hand, the financial performance under the current incompetent management of no integrity has been nose diving. It is expected to be worse in months to come if not days............

Liaw and the rest of BOD such as Ku etc must be removed for the sake of the future of GT and other companies such as Sarawak Consolidated Industries Bhd SCIB) , Artroniq Bhd ARTRONIQ) and APB etc

joyvest

Mr.Ku as a professional CA , has failed to deliver to safeguard the interest of the shareholders by allowing their incumbent Auditors , KPMG to resign midway before expiry of their engagement , which has sent a negative signal to the market resulting in loss of confidence in the management. Do you think he is fit to be a CA and should not be removed from BOD ?

APB still down because GT paper loss RM 1.48/share.

joyvest

Apparently, it was reported the APB had paid RM 2.00 to acquired GT shares . With the pathetic share price of 0.38 now , APB shareholders stand to lose RM 113.4 million in total. The said loss is expected to be impaired in the upcoming QR, resulting in massive reported loss. The shareholders and investors are said to have lost confidence in the current management of APB and call for revamp of the entire BOD.

kjstk1234

The company shows some solid fundamentals, with a good net margin and a solid cash position. However, the negative CAGR indicates a declining growth trend, which could limit future gains. The ROE is moderate, and the stock trades at a reasonable PE ratio, suggesting the market is cautious about its growth potential.
Current price/NAV, 525/456, 1.15X, slightly above NAV.
Could be a cautious buy if one believes the company : can reverse its negative growth trend, the company is expected to use its cash for strategic growth or acquisitions ,comfortable with a moderate return potential.
Else, wait for price to hit NAV or below NAV.

kjstk1234

Typical investment/trading game, buy below NAV or NTA, foreseeing good future growth of the company.

Conflicting reports on the transacted 70 million shares. RM 1.20 or RM 2.00 ?

It does not matter whether it was 1.20 or 2.00 , what is factual is that the total acquisition cost was RM 140m .

Sounds like there's a lot of uncertainty around the acquisitions and the share price! 🤔 The focus on buying below NAV makes sense, but with these conflicting reports, it's hard to gauge the true value right now. If the fundamentals are solid but the growth is shaky, it might be wise to play it safe and wait for a clearer signal before jumping in. Always good to keep an eye on the cash flow and future plans too! 💸
