Yesterday, inside IJM quarterly result - the construction division is still showing losses - albeit a small loss of a few millions...that got me thinking. If the big boy like IJM who have a stronger bargaining power than Gadang - can still show a loss due to rising material costs and inflationary factors - then Gadang next quarter results for their construction should not look too great. Its losses may narrow down but don't expect it to turn the corner - just yet.

Please tell me, Malaysia has 40+ data centers, Singapore double this! Gadang has bagged 1 data center contract, what is stopping it to get 2nd, 3rd and 4th? So how will Gadang move?

Disappointing quarterly result...although the silver lining is that losses suffered by the construction division is narrowing Qtr on QTR. Right now is the best time to buy with the anticipation that the construction division will break even for next Qtr and turn the corner thereafter.
Smart me..have not load up on Gadang but focusses my firepower on Gamuda and IJM.

Strong order book, cash generated from operating is increased and able to cover operating cost. Below 0.40 is undervalued, fair value should 1.10 based on latest QR.

LOL 😂. After reading a few comments above, I really laugh my ass off. i3 got no shortage of jokers running around. As the saying goes, there is a sucker born every minute. LoL. Thanks for delighting my day.
Even the humble RHB dare not put in a sky high TP. Their TP is just 55cents but we got jokers putting TP at RM1.1x.
Words of wisdom yah. Only buy after next Qtr result when the construction industry starts churning in profits.

Before you guys flame me...I am not saying Gadang is not a good company. Indeed, it is a mini IJM. But then, its time has not come and capital is better allocated to buy other counters first. Come back after the next Qtr results when the construction division starts churning in profits.
