Unico-Desa Plantations Berhad (Unico-Desa) is engaged in the cultivation of oil palm, palm oil milling and distribution of crude palm oil and palm kernel. The Company operates in two segments: plantations and hire purchase. The Company's plantation business entails the cultivation of oil palm, palm oil milling, as well as distribution of palm oil and palm kernel. The Group's plantation is located in Lahad Datu and Kinabatangan, Sabah. The Company also has a hire-purchase segment, which involves hire purchase financing for motor vehicles and insurance agency. As of March 31, 2011, the Company's subsidiaries included Unico Plantations Sdn. Bhd., Korop Holdings Sdn. Bhd., Builtec Agriculture & Development Sdn. Bhd., Zutaland Development Sdn. Bhd., Basic Plantation (S) Sdn. Bhd., Gelodar Sdn. Bhd., Golden Focus Sdn. Bhd. and ELK-Desa Resources Sdn. Bhd.

Y the company q3 revenue drop? Due to price drop in cpo? Any info of its palm age?

Div declared ex 30/8 at 2.5 cts / share ? I think vol will pick up once nearing 1-2 wks b4 ex days . Expecting to hit more than 1.10-1.20

div % is based on 0.25 par value. at recent prices, div yield is only about 3-4%.

If we hold the shares till IOI offers at much higher price, like in acquisition cases of PMI, HLCap, etc., is it workable? Can anyone advise?

Based on NTA of 0.85 sen, IOI is already offering 1.4 times of the NTA of UNico. So don't hope for higher GO price. You guy should sold when it touches 1.50.....1.40.....1.30 level that week.
So that prices is history...........................no choice now as you need to accept the GO.
