We can live without the moon but not without sun. Every fortnight the moon disappears and we still live. If the sun disappears for a few days, not sure what will happen but certainly the temperature will be cold and many crops will perish.

Back to reality again. How can we become a better investor or trader through understanding of ‘karma’?

My karma (My intention leading me to act or to do) in writing this article is by my observation what had happen in the past 1 year in i3. Why HerbertChua still trap in Layhong when Icon8888 and OTB able to turn around their 2018 losses into handsome gains in 2019?

This is because HerbertChua is still trap in his Karmic cycle of blaming others for his misfortune whereas Icon8888 and OTB able to use karmic Law of Change: “History repeats itself until we learn from it and change our path” in so doing remake their own Karmic cycle of good fortune.

This is how you become a better investor or trader through understanding of ‘karma’

Thank you

For thousands of years, carvings on temples, cave walls, monuments and artefacts have honoured the sun, bringer of warmth, security, life and light. The ancient zodiac wheel with its four cardinal points traces the passage of the sun as it moves through each of the 12 constellations marking the four seasons, the spring and autumn equinoxes and the summer and winter solstices. Our ancestors personified the sun, worshipping it as the light of the world, the sun god, the saviour of mankind. It is no coincidence that our principal day of worship is called Sun Day.

We were told that three wise men came from the east, following a star that led them to Bethlehem to celebrate His birth. The Virgin is the personification of the constellation Virgo – Virgo has represented the great female deities (the Goddess) since time immemorial.

Posted by EngineeringProfit > 2019-12-29 16:16 | Report Abuse

Joseph claimed that the star in the east was Sirius, the brightest star in the sky, which on December 24th aligns with the three brightest stars in the constellation of Orion (Orion’s belt). The stars were referred to by many ancient cultures as the Three Kings. The great pyramids of Egypt were built in exact alignment with these three stars, to channel the star energy on the earthly plane. And when Sirius (the brightest star) lined up with the Three Kings, they pointed to the place of sunrise on December 25th – the symbolic birth place of the sun or son.

Posted by EngineeringProfit > 2019-12-29 16:17 | Report Abuse

As the days grow shorter in the period leading up to the winter solstice, the sun appears to stop moving south or north (depending on which hemisphere you are in) and stay still for three days – the 22nd, 23rd and 24th December in the northern hemisphere and the 21st, 22nd and 23rd of June in the southern hemisphere. This is the meaning of the word ‘sol-stice’ – sun standing still. To our ancestors this period symbolised the death of the sun god (son of god) and when three days later on the 25th December the sun started moving again, the sun was reborn – hence the birth of the sun god or son of god.

Posted by EngineeringProfit > 2019-12-29 16:18 | Report Abuse

During this three day period, Joseph tell us that the sun resides in the vicinity of the Southern Cross constellation and appears to ‘hang’ on the cross, i.e. 'crucifixion'. However the resurrection of the sun or son is celebrated three months later at the spring equinox (Easter) when once again the forces of light defeat the forces of darkness and the days grow longer than the nights.

Dear all,
I just posted the article in Tun Mahathir’s blog with amend ending as below:

The Law of Change: History repeats itself until we learn from it and changes our path or according to Albert Einstein, “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result”

In GE14 we Malaysians able to act together and break the karmic cycle of corrupted BN rule and put in a new PH government. http://chedet.cc/?p=2847#comment-141048
Highlight: Karma symbols of endless knot are common cultural motifs in Asia. Endless knots symbolize interlinking of cause and effect, a Karmic cycle that continues eternally.
We can end this endless knot in GE14 and create a new Karmic cycle where quality leaders with true patriotism, ethical, selfless devotion to duty, complete willingness to dedicate his/her live to the causes of nation-building and raising the peoples’ standard of living, shall rise to replace the corrupt, arrogant, thuggish, selfish, self-enriching, liar, immoral and unprincipled BN politicians and save our beloved Malaysia from being ruined.

Many months had passed since that faithful day of 9th May 2018, had things change for better? I am afraid we Malaysians are still trap in our Karmic cycle of Race and Religion. In the year to come, I pray that somehow and somewhat our politicians will find their political will and courage to lead us to break this karmic cycle of race and religion and remake a new karmic cycle of unity, justice and prosperity

I wish all a Happy and Prosperous New Year 2020.

Thank you
Yours truly,
SS LEE

DO YOU KNOW FOR ALL OF BUDDHA'S TEACHING HE EVENTUALLY CONFESSED HE FAILED

BUDDHA SAID

"NOT IN THE SKY, NOT ON THE EARTH OR IN THE DEPTH OF THE SEA WHERE MAN CAN FIND A PLACE THAT HE CAN BE FREED FROM HIS EVIL DESIRES"

THIS IS WHAT GOD HAS SAID

"FOR ALL HAVE SINNED AND COME SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD"

THERE IS NONE RIGHTEOUS. NO. NOT ONE

SO THE BIBLE CONCLUDES ALL MEN (ALL INCLUDING BUDDHA) TO BE SINNERS AND WILL STILL DIE AND GO FOR JUDGMENT OF SINS

UNLESS HE ACCEPTS JESUS CHRIST WHO CAME TO EARTH TO DIE FOR THE SINS OF ALL MANKIND"

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

BUDDHA is CORRECT in what he said

"NOT IN THE SKY, NOT ON THE EARTH OR IN THE DEPTH OF THE SEA WHERE MAN CAN FIND A PLACE THAT HE CAN BE FREED FROM HIS EVIL DESIRES"

Because to redeem, one must look INWARDLY, within oneself not externally.

Only NASA and other space agencies are in the right direction to prove the existence of the builder or creator. The rest are referring to some man written book or something which fell to earth from the sky.

The book should provide knowledge and wisdom, unfortunately we are witnessing genocide, chaos and quarrels. If not by billions, hundreds of millions of life perished since the book came into existence.

Dear all,
I was brought up with the influence of Confucius, Taoism and Buddhism but this did not stop me from reading the book of others religion. Having to understand the world religions and their idiosyncrasies does not make me less respectful of the existing religions. They are the foundation of human morality at large. Though some of the teachings are no longer applicable to the mainstream, religions are the glue that binds the people together as of the purpose of life before every one of us have to make our ultimate sacrificed to make way/space for the new.

Religion teaches us good beget good evil beget evil. Good people will always do good things no matter what their religion. The evil things done in the name of religions were done by the evil people. These kind of individuals are forever evil no matter which religions they belong.

I agree with Icon8888 all religions are true, there are just different body parts of the elephant or to me religion is like a multi-facade lamp shade. Though the shade has various angles, the source of the light is all the same. It is this light that illuminates all the religions. No one religion can claim the exclusivity of the Source. May this light show us the way and drive out the darkness.

Thank you

'The (multi)universe is so huge as it has many....." = mainly atheistic sapiens' scientific scripts vs solar system (medieval religious scriptures)

"....which orbit around without clashing...." = not seen by our naked etes; but violent clashes of celestrial objects occur on regular basis afar. Many animals extinct naturally too - what an imperfect system if by creation if really the case!

"....operates wonderfully like the oxygen,carbon,rain....." = just like when you find flowers, you can expect to see bees or butterfly = condusive and supportive environment allow certain lifeform propagation

"....far more superior....." = evolution happened starting from the simplest and most basic lifeform to the most complex ones. It is counter-intuitive, intellectually insulting and mind bending to hold the idea that the most perfect and complex superbeing comes first. In fact, we are far more superior to all othr animals and plants on earth in such a way that many of them could see us like God-like 8n many ways. Are we ready to assume our responsibilities to take care of all the other life forms and the earth, instead of busy proselytizing, eliminating LGBTs, warring and emptying underground black gold?

"Let's be be humble n truthful ......." = the main character had never existed or walked on earth - just merely an astromythology; all abrahamic ones just evolved from Judaism

More collision : The Giant-impact hypothesis and the Formation Of Planet Earth

Planet Theia was orbiting the Sun, nearly along the orbit of Gaia, the proto-Earth. Theia might have eventually perturbed away from that relationship by the gravitational influence of Jupiter and/or Venus, resulting in a collision between Theia and Earth.

Theia could have struck Earth with a glancing blow and ejected many pieces of both the proto-Earth and Theia, those pieces either forming one body that became the Moon or forming two moons that eventually collided and merged to form the Moon.

Evidence published in January 2016 suggests that the impact was indeed a head-on collision and that Theia's remains can be found in both the Earth and the Moon.

Additional evidence published this year suggests that Theia may have formed in the outer solar system rather than the inner solar system, thus making it analogous to a Kuiper-Belt object like Pluto, and that much of Earth's water originated on Theia.

Posted by EngineeringProfit > 2019-12-30 13:25 | Report Abuse

Collision: Double-edge sword - destructive, yet made life possible on earth

The impact between Earth and Theia occurred about 4.4 billion years ago, very early in Earth’s life. That’s when the Earth most likely received most of its carbon, nitrogen, and other volatile chemicals necessary for life to exist.

Theia planet had a sulfur-rich core, while its mantle and crust contained volatiles. When it collided with the Earth, it injected the chemicals necessary for life, like nitrogen, carbon, hydrogen and sulfur, into the Earth’s crust. The collision also ejected massive amounts of material into space, which coalesced into the Moon.

For those who are studying the origin of life, the question is no longer whether life could have originated by chemical processes involving nonbiological components. The question instead has become which of many pathways might have been followed to produce the first proto-cells and micro-organisms.

(The term "evolution" usually refers to the biological evolution of living things. But the processes by which planets, stars, galaxies, and the universe form and change over time are also types of "evolution." )

Posted by EngineeringProfit > 2019-12-30 13:45 | Report Abuse

Gaia, Theia and Life (Adam, Eve and You)

The dynamical mixing of the two planetary cores by the collision allowed the stratification of Earth's core. This establishes a stable stratification which prevents a long-lasting geodynamo and a planetary magnetic field. The moon-forming impact could have been violent enough to mechanically mix the core of the Earth and allow a long-lasting geodynamo to generate today's planetary magnetic field. Planetary magnetic fields shield planets and life on the planet from harmful cosmic radiation. If a late, violent and giant impact is necessary for a planetary magnetic field then such an impact may be necessary for life.

Nakajima and Stevenson's study has shown how the most violent impacts could stir the core of planets late in their accretion. The significance of this study, in terms of how it relates to the evolution of Earth and the emergence of life, cannot be understated. If Earth's magnetosphere is the result of a late energetic impact, then such impacts could very well be the difference between our planet being habitable or being either too cold and arid (like Mars) or too hot and hellish (like Venus).

A Long Crawl To Natural Selection: Spontaneous Chemical Self-assembly Process In A Very Different Early Environment Without Oxygen Gas Or Protective Earth's magnetic field)

The early Earth’s atmosphere could be highly reducing as opposed to oxidizing later days. Energy sources to drive initial chemical reactions available from UV solar radiation, radioactivity, electrical discharges (lightning), cosmic rays and solar wind (ward off by Earth’s magnetic field now). Volcanic and vent energy available near hydrothermal vents.

Certain materials are ambiphilic: they have a polar hydrophilic head and a hydrophobic tail. Hydrophilic materials can be dissolved in water. Self-assembly and formation of spheres, or micells, are natural as they permit surface area and free energy reduction. With sufficient concentrations, ambiphilic molecules will form a double-layer structure, or bilayer. Spheres, or bilayer vesicles, formed.

High surface tension of water leads to large drops, not individual molecules. Concentration and polymerization of inorganic molecules happened spontaneously, and phospholipids could self-assemble into films forming semi-permeable membranes.

New pathways recently found for nucleotide self-assembly. A simpler abiotic-cum-nonprotein-producing RNA world had once existed. Protein transcription in Archaea and Bacteria have different forms implying they independently formed DNA genomes and methods of transcribing DNA into RNA.

Finally, the first protobiont would have only limited genetic information, but because their properties were heritable, they could be acted on by natural selection. Growth naturally controlled by supersaturation. Mutation (occasional copying errors) and natural selection leads to more stable and faster replicating varieties. Natural refinement to replace RNA by DNA as the repository of genetic information; being double-stranded it is more stable and accurately reproduced.

Their 'products' are misfits in the post-modern era, in terms of life motto, scientific knowledge and evidence-based practices.

Running a company more than half a century ago, I used to interview job applicants myself - paying attention particularly on their life philosophy.
We could train them on the technical skill part, but their belief system and thinking affect their attitude toward their work. Retrospectively, we can conclude that certain people we must avoid hiring:

1. those who fail to appreciate how hard life form had come about ( see 'The long crawl to natural selection' above); as these people would prove to take life for granted, expect gain without pain and not industrious;

2. those who lack of critical thinking; as these people would prove to be additive to any problem that arises. Generally they are incapable of solving their own financial/marital problems - and often bring them to work as well;

3. those who do not see the fact that they are solely the most powerful being on earth who must take the biggest responsibilities to take care of the environment and ecosystem; as they would prove to pests to your company assets/premise too!!
