My thoughts....Generally, stock price will spike whenever bonus or free warrants so definitely there will be some who wants take advantage of taking profit during contra period...i dont think the sharks will allow that. so thats y selling today...my 2 cents
Can the expert here tells me why the price dropped so much after bonus issue. I calculated, the price was supposed to be ard 0.84 after bonus issue based on yesterday closing price. So If I buy VIS today, am I entitled to bonus issue since ex date is 10 nov to 14 nov (inclusive)?
They see drop they will fear, 1/3 of the shares and warrant can't sell because not yet get it. For those very bullish stock, of course the bonus issue might not look like this.
Calculation wise may apply a x125% for its premium. As for Vis common share, may take it's recent private placement price at $1.18 (before ex for bonus) as the reference.
Optimum side : $1/ is possible Wacth out for Sudden Huge Vol. (At high side , it is likely distribution till Vis qtr improved by at least 2-3 times its proceeding qtr) Gd luck.
IMHO tomorrow is 11.11 shopping fest, part of the funds go shopping edy...(please don't shoot me) :p ...so it's normal for the current weak stock price, good chance for me to buy more on price weakness...plenty of room to build a fotress, will start to attack when the right time comes.
Let's see tomorrow Vis will rebound or not as accumulation interest build on Friday despite correction. Normally after ex bonus, price will drop first day based on what I observation on Tecfast and then second day after ex they will push up high again. Theoretically price after bonus issue, it turn cheap and may attract speculators, since fundamental still solid I believe maybe still got room for capital gain. Cheers.

@aikinlai Yes the price adjustment will base on the last closing price before ex ya.
