For the past few days, EPF has been buying while ASB has been selling. (converting their DRP into cash, I guess)

Based on latest dividend, EPF pays higher....they must have better fund managers, I guess.

MBB n PBB stuuck to this price for many days.. so most prbably move up if any good news.. like kobis is below 4k.. and more people vacinated etc and we get another drip in aug... probably 0.135.... so... be happy.

one more thing i notice is that big funds ALWAYS buys in 100-900 shares and they also park in 100-900 quotes.. so in one sec u can see about 30k shares for sale and when u see the transection it will be buy or sell like.. 200,400,100, 300,200,100 3000,100, 100 hahahahaha

and they will keep adding at a certain price like say 8.19 . the moment share transected , they will add anonther few lot shares... and tray to mantain a certain buy or sell volume.. they make it balaced for buy or sale price.. and they expect us to think retail buyers are fooling around with 100 shares size purchase and sales/... nuts

The DRP new shares will be listed on 29/6/2021, will this affect the share price? Most probably it will push the price down, is my prediction correct?

Simple Life : MBB share price went ex on 28 May.. the share price on that date was minus the 0.385 sen from privious day price and it was at about RM8.00 . But it closed about 20 sen higher and continues till this day. So threotically it is NOT sopose to go lower. But as some of these low volume holders receive the drip shares , SOME ma be temped to sell on the 29th as some logis tell them these share are different from their mother shares ( weird untrue logic) ,, when they sell the drip shares is because the the number of shares received as drip and their shares goes back to their previous total holdings... so expect a little drop as more sellers will emerge from the cupboard and expect epf to mop up after a short while later ( mayber ebnd of day trading... and expect the price to go up prior and after the next qtr result end August.

ANyway most of these OLD FAGS here are not bothered about any price moment and they hold all their shares with an iron grip.. weather the price shoots up to RM12 or drops to RM6.. the just take the drip and dividends and dont even chat here at all.. except once in a while to see me talking crap... and say snide remarks like .... "no money and small lots ah... I just received 2500 share drip (meaning they got 150k share of MBB and that just in MBB not yet show their PBB , GENTING HLFG Nestle )

so when they are here i cabut elsewhere.

23 June 2021 : 279,343,269 new Maybank Shares to be issued at 88.01% reinvestment rate.

Means every 100 people invested in MBB 88 people ask for shares.. so MBB saved paying these people by cash and gave shares only therby saving $2 bilion ringgit.

It also means 279 million extra shares potentially available for sale by the shareholders on 29 th Jun ( Tuesday)

It also means on 29th Jun these share holders also have dividendmoney to top up their MBB shares.

Am i wrong to reach this conclusion?

I think the conclusion is correct, however, the recipients actions are difficult to predict in terms of selling or topping up further.

Much may depend on the fund managers requirements in terms of cash requirements.

Hi can anyone advice is DRP will be issued at 5% discount to current price? Let's say I should be entitled to RM100k dividend. But I opt for shares. The price of Maybank DRP will determine how much shares I get,is it?
