tolle...not I jaga here....but the big boys jaga MBB DRP price fixing till the very last day....today should get approval from Bursa...they are still pushing down...haha.

I still got allocation for 10...will buy during pre closing.

With DRP 20 , MBB announce the price fixing of DRP the following day after bursa approval.

If follow last drp SOP, MBB tomorrow announce the price for drp?

Yes, during DRP 20, announcement of price and ex date is next day after Bursa approval...and price fixing is till the day of announcement of Bursa approval...if same, means till today.

Got RM1846 discount....can buy nasi lemak for many months....haha.

@tolle....actually for normal investors like us, lower discount and higher price is better (it doesn't make a lot of difference to us)....because if too high a discount, there will be more profit taking by funds like EPF and PNB...resulting more selling pressure.... to us, how the share perform make more difference than the discount.

Hi guys, newbie here. Based on my understanding with the Maybank's DRIP that I can choose to take the dividend which is RM28sen with tax exempt or I can opt to reinvest the 28sen dividend back and repurchase another new share with RM7.8 right? Anyone kind to explain. thanks in advance.

DRP has 2 options.
Option 1 - 28 cent full cash payment
Option 2 - 14 cent cash and 14 cent DRP to purchase new shares @ RM7.80 per share

If you have 1,000 shares then
Option 1 - You get RM 280 cash (before bank fees if any)
Option 2 - You get RM140 cash and 35/36 Maybank shares purchased at RM7.80 (can't remember the rounding).

There is a calculator which is released on the website closed to the ex-date.

Yes, you can subscribe to the DRP via the registrar. Payment is through online banking. Very convenient. No need to fill forms. Just indicate how many shares you want and make payment.
