missed the dip. ,, so not buying.. price is too high for me. SO not moving Jan cash out into MBB.

But i am not sad... cos my MBB is numbawan ( in term of volume inbvested) and waiting for dividend announcement in a few weeks (last week of Feb)...angpau gia loi<.

@jeffchan1901....the article was referring to current yield of 7.9%....and Bloomberg predicted 9% for next year.....ie about 72 sen in 2023...

@stkoay thanks sifu. good to know. looking forward to DRP and hopefully top up ex-date with available funds. this will really be my retirement fund.

luckily I heed your advice and top up a huge chunk at 7.99 to lower down my average in Nov 2021.

only downside I foresee is that if the TP is a reality in the near future, this means that DRP offered will also be priced higher as well. so smart money says to grab and accumulate on the next dip when you can.

@Maverickeking Did you really check the recent dividends? I owned both PBB and MBB, unfortunately PBB very prudent (read: selfish) with dividend - 2020 (0.13) and 2021-1st (0.075). Very far compared to MBB - average 0.50+. Luckily my portfolio is only limited to MBB:PBB 3:1. Still keeping PBB because my entry cost is very low @3.80 - post bonus issue. Otherwise I consolidate to MBB already. If 2021 is based on 2020 dividend for PBB, I only get 3.42% compared to MBB which I expect to get 8.1%

@sifu tolle...now, 8.4+ doesn't look attractive to you..

...but if it trades higher, says 8.7+ ...then stabilize....and when it corrects to current price then you will think it's a bargain :p


....EPF also like that....they sell into strength...but when it goes higher then they will buy on correction, even it's still higher than their previous sell :)

Printing (planting) more and more usd in 2020 to 2021. In 2022, taper (water) and interest hike (fertiliser) untill inflation high (plant grown up) and ready to harvest all usd in the world in order to buy goods around the world.
