I know Calvin has disposed. However there are still investors hoping for arbitrage(privatize at RM 4.1 vs current price) gain.

Calvin will wait for 4.10 - only a little left. Always shift from fully valued shares to other undervalue shares. Always rotate like Peter Lynch. That is the only way to beat Warren Buffet. Peter Lynch's Magellan Fund at 39% beats Berkshire at 25%

Being taken private at RM4.10, based on reports/analysis, expected to go thru. Why isn't this stock trading near RM4.10? Normally after announcement stock would be trading near the privatization price. My only guess is the owners want it to trade below this price so the offer 'looks' attractive and will be accepted. Any other thoughts?

What JCorp gets out of privatising Kulim

Among others, lots of cash and a vast landbank

The matter would certainly be raised by shareholders in an upcoming extraordinary general meeting (EGM) by Kulim to vote on the deal.

Kulim’s board of directors have until Nov 20 to approve JCorp’s proposal at its present terms.

Next proposal by Kulim on the agenda:

Launch of 2 Major Housing Projects in Pengerang Region

One near Desaru as vehicle traffic approaches Pengerang by Kulai - Desaru highway. Another one in Tg Berlungkor where Singapore ferry transport people and cars through Changi. These are gold mines which will bring in multiplied billions for Kulim.

Now that you know the answer what should we do as shareholders?

Did you missed Kulim at Rm2.50?

Those who bought at Rm2.50 will make 60% profit the Lion's share.

Those who came lately will buy at Rm3.87 and get only 5% (Better than 3.25% FD).

Why act like scavengers? Like ravens or hyena looking for scraps?

Tell you what? Next time go hunt like a Lion to get the Lion's share.

居林在文告中說,董事部是在週二(17日)舉行的會議上,決定把私有化提案提呈給公司股東過目和考慮,這意味該提案已獲董事部接受,如今只待股東的回應。

If really revalued Kulim should be worth more than Rm10.00 easily.

OK? Don't cry over missed opportunity. JCorp sure to take Kulim private just as they did with Johor Land, QSR & KFC shares.

Note:

3) MAHSING Bought Bandar Bistari Perdana 1,000 acres land for only Rm7.00 psf from the previous bankrupt developer.It already has 2 storey houses with good roads and infrastructure & 3 fishing ponds (Now the ponds are all fenced up)

Just side by side next door is Ecoworld's Jln Belimbing Kota Masai lands. Ecocoworld is selling lands at Rm45 psf. So how much should be MAHSING's Lands worth psf?

Special dividend is extra ice cream? Hopefully got one. Hmmm nice.

Kulim's cash RM 1,797,225,000 - RM 1,447,653,000 (total liabilities) = RM 349,572,000 = RM 0.269 nett cash/share. (cash from sales of NBPO will gives handsome interest every month)

Fix asset = RM 3.084/share (which land valued in 1997 and not yet include gain from sale of Nexsol)

Trade and other receivable = RM 0.47/share

Nett cash+ Fix asset + trade receivable = RM 3.823.

RM 4.10 is a good price to sell your asset, hmmm.....
.

Its value is far more than RM3.823. And its future growth is also far more than what it is worth (after reevaluating its present assets worth especially lands) today.
