I have been holding YTL Land share for the last 20 years. Why don't the YTL Corp buy this company and pay back the YTL Land share holders? How long do we have to wait? Have some pity on Land shareholders. Investor.

We buy YTLLand because of the undervalued lank bank. Much higher than the RM0.88 (NTA). If we wanted YTL, we would have bought YTL directly.

YTLLand has lots of land bank. Just sell the assets one piece a year and the company will record profits for the next 10 years or even longer.

YTL Nta 1.27 and share price 1.14 ( 10% lower then Nta) while YTL Land Nta 0.88 ( not adjusted since 2002) . Does it seems fair? At least should give 0.80 which is 10% lower than nta.

No way to stop them because at 75% they can delist the company ( that’s Blackmailing) unless some White Knights come out to offer higher price to block YTL .

well it's a sad end to the shareholders...after many years..

ytlland shld be worth much more, look at their land in sentul east, etc... huge plots of land..

unless minority can form a group to object the deal, its gameover.


PS. I dont have any ylland shares, just giving my view.

They converted most of the Singapore condo units into serviced apartments early this (as usual no announcement) i.e. no more sales risk and should be able to clear the debt if they offload it later to REIT ot whatever and now it is best time to steal the company before the asset monetization....As usual, minorities are getting short-changed again....30% stake in Sentul land also worth RM252m (vs YTL Land's mkt cap of RM300m now), which was what YTL Land paid in 2016!!! Massively undervaluing the company...

yes they can do that but they then have to raise the takeover price to 38 sen if they buy above the present takeover price of 36 sen !

yup..this piece of land is between prince court medical centre and yayasan tun razak along jalan bukit bintang. Easily 2500-3000 psf

YTL new HQ also sitting on YTL Land's land in front of Ritz Carlton Hotel...they are also building a new Marriott Hotel on land owned by YTL Land near Sentral.....Best time to steal the company! The bukit bintang land is almost 6 acres and Francis can sell this and use the money to privatize and build himself a new church to repent

Every shareholder should not SELL now even when he gets the 75% . Yeoh family will not delist YTL Land. Just don’t let him get the 90%. Hope every one of us buy a bit at 0.365 and above to absorb the weak holders. I will buy also.
