I believe we should die die hold now because it is really cheap . Do some profit taking earlier but regret. Luckily still holding with paper profit. Monday sure shoot up. Notveasy to buy below RM 9 now. Maybe have to wait and wait and wait....

Dear all holders,

Pls do ourselves a favor not to sell the shares too early and if can dumb dumb hold.

Why ? Because the sharp drop of the share price for the past several weeks was in fact caused by SHORT SELLERS !

Hence, they now have to buy back from low. But all of us here trying to add or hold on tight will make them suffer by buying at higher price from now on.

Maybe they need to buy at RM2-3/= from today's close.

Just for those holding this stock to take note.

If possible buy more and don't let them buy back at this level.

When the stock got beaten down, Halite was bashed left right centre.

Stock decides to shoot up and all of sudden, the proud supporters shows up. and the cycle continues again with TP dropping from the sky, RM15 seems the consensus view.

Better be humble, promote less and don't set too high expectation.

Up steady and consolidate a bit is good, learn from Hengyuan and hope no "superstar" come and promote kaw kaw.

We want a steady company, not roller coaster.

There is no sell down on petron but big sell down of hengyuan by the old fox togerher with 2 ib. Old fox margin sell down was makan by 1 local n 2 spore funds. Petron was more on panic sell by retailers !! Anyway petron will recover to its 'right' price next week, hy might have big surprise as few big orders already in from spore..highly suspect its original buyers from locals who sell down last week ! Right hand to left hand or rather local to foreign but no change in ownership..............

Just think about what is a reasonable P/E for something that is as low volatility as this, then you get to the right TP. I think P/E of 12-14 is not out of the picture at all.

KL Tneoh : In actual fact, Petronm & Petronas Refinery already Euro 4 ready, at the moment they still produce Euro 2 standard as the regulation still allow it.

I have questions regarding to the blog dated 3rd Feb with the title "Difference between Petronm and Hengyuan". It says Petronm's refinery is a simple one which is suitable to process only sweet crude which is more expensive. However, WTI is currently far cheaper than the Brent Crude and yet WTI contains a lot less sulfur than Brent Crude. Also, it says that Petronm is currently unable to produce fuel oil that contain not more than 0.5% sulfer. But WTI contains only 0.24% sulfur and assuming that Petronm is using WTI, how can the fuel oil it produced contains more than 0.5% sulfur? Can someone here explain? Thank you.

Explanation in Petronm website https://www.petron.com.my/web/site/slider/20 under Port Dickson Refinery tab paragraph #4 says

"Crude (predominantly light low sulfur crudes) is imported and processed to produce a wide range of petroleum products that includes Gasoline (U95), Jet fuel, Diesel, LPG, and Low-Sulphur Waxy Residue (LSWR)."

Under "What We Offer --> Our Products", one can also find Petron Diesel Euro 5 with a sulfur content of 6 ppm, far below the 10 ppm required by Euro 5 standard. If Petronm is able to produce Diesel Euro 5 and distribute to 70 of its Petrol Station, why it can't produce fuel oil that has sulfur content less than 0.5%? By the way, 6 ppm is 0.0006%
