Trump hotel vancouver room rates gone up about 50% since opening. Maybe it is seasonal but it looks encouraging. I wouldn't worry as the city is largely populated by Asians. Most of them don't care about what is happening in the U.S. Cheers!!

Chang24 nice to hear from you. TT (Tony Tiah) now starting to bite on 39 sen. RM1.00 is long ways to go. Hoping for short term target of 42 to 45 sen by August end. If end of 2018 can achieve 70 - 80 sen will be great.
If only Tony Tiah is buying, I don't think the price will move up a lot. Unless investment funds and more private investors are convince with what he is doing put their money in TAGB, the likelihood of reaching 0.80 looks tough.
Setting up REIT will help TAGB to realise its hidden values. The MD has mentioned a few years back that they will set up REIT when the timing is right.
PenguinDad With REIT the benefit is TAGB will pay a lower tax, there will be more for distribution. Payout got to be higher than 90% of net profits to qualify for REIT status and a lower tax bracket.
The most important thing is to see how Datuk Tony Tiah will give back to the small shareholders. If Tony doesn't give it to you there's nothing you can do about it.

Historically, Tony Tiah will stop buying once the result is out. This time will be different because of the land disposal where the profit will only be recognised by year end If he continues buying after the result is out, that will be a very very good sign
