Latest THE BUSY WEEKLY has an article comparing the business model (the effect of resin price, crude oil price etc) of BPPLAS vs SLP vs Tomypak. Worth to have a read :)
I bought tomypak-warrants at 28.5cts 100,000 units on 27 sept last year before split,now after split 1 become 2.5 still 40 over cts.already sold only can up this much despite profit fall......bursa tipu
support broken, now still not yet time to buy dip. Wait lower la, after 0.9, i expect slump to 0.85-0.88. If still flush through, need to cut loss already.
pc_FA, Yes, there was DBT of 400k @ 1.05 on 28 August. Just wondering why the biggest shareholder bought such a small quantity at 8 to 9 sen higher than the market price ?
@vinvestor, thanks for sharing it. Tomypak buy/sell volume is small quantity normally. 400k unit consider quite "big" for Tomypak. If he buy direct 400k unit at open market, I believe the share price might go up to 1.05++ also.
@Bird87, Lol. I will just stick to my original plan :) At least Hold till end of financial year 2018 and buy more if it drop further :P No buy/sell call here. Purely just share and discuss Tomypak company at here.
Below is my forecast for upcoming 2017Q3 financial result:
Good things: 1. Revenue increase; 2. Increase in local and export sales; 3. Better wastage control and improved operations efficiency; 4. Higher profit margin; 5. Realignment plan on 2nd half of 2017; 6. Eliminate the need for external storage space currently leased from third parties;
Bad things: 1. Increase in raw material costs (polymer (PP/PET) price); 2. Higher global crude oil prices; 3. ESOS expenses (might cost around RM 1.8 million);
Below is my expectation for 2017Q3: 1. Revenue around 65 - 75 million; 2. PAT around 6.5 - 7.0 million; *PAT around 4.7 - 5.2 million; 3. EPS around 1.5-1.6 sen; *EPS around 1.1-1.2 sen; 4. Dividend around 1 sen; * Deduct ESOS expenses
After seeing Mr. Yong and then the Chairman bought so many lots recently at 93-95sen, I feel more confident and topped up more Tomypak shares over the past 2 days at 93-94sen...
i wont advise to collect now lo, i rather advise you go hunt commodities counter ssteel, masteel, pmb, lionid... etc etc the return are way more higher and promising at least in this few days.
