masterpack eps has increased due to contribution from its new factory. That is the reason it deserves higher valuation than pphb. One drawback for pphb is that it has just started hotel business which might incur losses for the next few quarters

Berkshire, apart from packaging business, PPHB also fully owns The Prestige Hotel which is a 4-star hotel located in Penang Island.

problem with PPHB and the like BRIGHT packaging is that their margins indicate a spike due to one off events which are not sustainable unlike MASTER PACK

probability, based on PBT margin of PPHB - 8184/46054 = 17.7% and Master 6163/55480 = 11.1% can answer you the sustainability. i like Master becoz of dividend. Thanks

Ya, the one-off gain item RM0.8 mil only. EPS this quarter still has 5 sen. Forward PE too cheap to be ignored.

ORNA can't perform due to MUDA opened a new corrugated box factory in Melaka. There is sniff competition between them.

So left PPHB only. The price of raw material now even lower than third quarter, so I think the profit of PPHB should be very good in next quarter, maybe 6 sen.

They are silent in i3..
I can feel the strenght of master flying but i3 still quiet. Most investors bought in Master n pphb are not i3 busybody man like me:)

Quarterly revenue grew 22.94% to RM55.37 million from RM45.04 million a year ago.

For the full year ended Dec 31, 2018, its net profit grew 22.43% to RM19.01 million, from RM15.53 million last year, while revenue also increased 11.91% to RM198.88 million, from RM177.7 million in the previous year.

At the current share price, Public Packages is trading at 0.53 times its book value.
