The dilemma you are in now is that when you buy at 1.20 you wouldn't know when they will do a SBB higher than 1. 20 but when you sell at 1.20 you may not buy back at a much lower price. I have have decided to sell at 1.20 and say goodbye. Can buy back some others good dividend plantations stocks 😊😊 I just don't like SBB 🐒🐒

OneOracle is correct

A check with Tsh past SBB record of 2019 shows they started SBB below 80 sen and kept up buying

Then Tsh crossed Rm1.50
Almost up 100% till year 2020 Covid 19 hits

So if history repeats and Sbb continues then we should see Tsh go up much much higher in similar pattern

Since SBB is Rm1.20 any pullback below Rm1.20 very safe to add

With 5 sen dividend support it is a yield of 4.2% and better than Bank FD

Neither desperate wishing nor share buy backs will help push TSH to greater heights. What helps is improved future earnings and/or possibly, sale of a parcel Kalimantan lands at elevated prices to excite punters. The partial Kalimantan land sale cancellation earlier this year after protracted delays certainly dampened investor enthusiasm. Opening of Ikn Nusantara to the public has come and gone but likewise the excitement and constant news. TSH share price is now so far behind JPG and JTiasa. It seems idiocy and obstinacy continues to be bed partners.

As for Tsh Directors/Insiders have been considerate to bring us another nice dividend of 2.5 sen, in time for a Christmas 🎄 present 🎁 knowing full well that this is the last chance to before next year's extra 2% tax on dividend received above Rm100,000

Plus the support of share buy gives confidence against Ib banks RSS short sell

All in all Tsh is still a good work in progress

Yes i bought lots of Jtiasa at 63 sen and sold after it crossed Rm1.40

Then bought back at Rm1.03 to receive 3.5 sen dividend to bring down real time cost to 99.5 sen

Since Jtiasa again rebounded above Rm1.50 i happy to take some profit

Any more higher i will sell INTO STRENGTH and Switch to other bombed out laggards

When Jtiasa was 63 sen and bombed out nobody stood with me and now Jtiasa over Rm1.50 everybody goes GaGa

To buy low sell high?

Tsh now no more Call warrants till April 2025

so no IB banks do RSS short sell

Tsh rose up 4 sen to Rm1.25

Jtiasa will face 2 call warrants on Jan 2025 and as such Jtiasa sold and pressed down by IB RSS short sell from Rm1.49 to Rm1.43 (down 6 sen)

ROE of TSH is 5.06%. It was not a surprise that it is trading at a fraction of its book value.

For shareholders of TSH, they will prefer the management allocate capital more efficiently: preferring dividends to share buyback, given its low return on invested capital.

From TSH management sbb pattern and historical behavior.
Personally believe there is going to be a major corporate exercise probably next year.
In 2019 SBB for 3 mths. The price went up to 160 probably going even higher before covid strike.
Their 720 million disposal plan was delayed until 2021.

The price likely move to 1.80 to 2 range by next year based on chart.
Most will jump ship before 1.4 scratching their heads without any idea whats driving the rally.

Meanwhile hope more doubters will sell their holding cheap to TSH.

Since Company is using shareholders' funds to do SBB

Any price weakness will be cheaper deployment of funds

These will be kept as Treasury shares

1. It can be cancelled and free float will be less

2. So if there is Cash for dividend then there will be less to share and everyone will get a bigger share

3. Treasury shares can also be given out as dividend in specie

This one will not be subjected to extra 2% tax of dividends received above Rm100k

So SBB is definitely positive for shareholders
