Tsh Resources is Rock Solid

1. from Rm1.5 Billions debt BOD has made it almost debt free

2. it has Rm200 millions cash hoard for share buy back and is doing it daily

yesterday when 900 stocks of Klse down Tsh was up due to SBB

Last 12 months Tsh gave a total of 5 sen dividend

at Rm1.19 the dividend yield is 4.2% which is better than Bank FD rates of 3%

now Tsh is sitting on gold mine lands

13,338 acres in Kipi Tanah Kuning , Bulugan Industrial park of East Kalimantan

94,700 acres in Ikn Nusantara the new admin Capital of Indonesia

their book value only Rm4.5k per acre cost in Ikn to Rm16.5k in Bulugan

So we are happy to hold this tsunami shelter share with dividend in an uncertain time like now

Take note

both Tsh and Jtiasa got about Rm1.5 Billions borrowings 5 years ago

since then their debts have been cleared and pared down to almost nil

all that time Cpo prices ranged from a low of Rm2200 per ton to Rm3000 per ton

so now that Cpo is above Rm4000 per ton they should be doing fine

for Tsh Sure Very Good like Klk , Uplant were in early days

so Tsh is on to a very bright future

Yea, JPG recovering quickly towards 1.20 has already delivered its angpow this morning as expected without need of sbb. Where is Kelvin Tan and his cash? Quickly take TSH back to 1.25.

Towkay A bought a piece of raw land and planted oil palm. He used his savings and also bank loans. The first few years, he continued to plow in more money to plant. FCF was negative. Soon, the plants matured and started providing revenues. However, he continued to put in more money in the plantation as its was still FCF negative. One year, for a brief period, the CPO was enjoying high prices. The plantation revenues were very good for that year, and he was able to declare a dividend to the joy of his shareholders. However, the company continues to have substantial bank loans. Going forward, the revenues continue to grow, its profits likewise, and he was able to slowly reduce the borrowings of his company. However, the shareholders did not get any dividends. Now that his initial project has matured and stabilised, Towkay A acquired a smaller piece of land (about half that of his present plantation) and started clearing the land for replanting. The capex required for the next few years were substantial, and once again the company is in FCF negative, and its bank borrowings increased again. Shareholders can look to a brighter future in later years. For those requiring dividend incomes immediately, this company may not be suitable for them.

TSH has a lot of unplanted land. It sold its plantations for reduce its debts. Going forward, managing its cash flows remains challenging, as future capex is not small.

There's 2 more weeks to CNY, plenty of time for a minor turnaround back to 1.19. A small bet anyway. Save your sympathy for TSH, they bought back some 17m shares to date and are sitting on a large paper loss.
